What do you mean "go to the back"? If you mean they should be ranked behind every undefeated team, that's ridiculous.
Texas and ND both lost tight games to good teams... We haven't even played a team in the same realm of LSU or Georgia yet. If we get through our next 5 games, we will jump both Texas & ND

I agree with Southern. The AP Poll is really a farce! Wisconsin (3-0) is ranked #13 (tied with us). They are ranked below Michigan (2-1) who is rated #11. Didn't Wisconsin drub Michigan 35-14????? The Coaches Poll puts Michigan at #20 and Wisconsin at #9! Why do they (AP) have Utah (3-1) rated #10? The Coaches Poll ranks them #19. Both polls give Notre Dame (2-1) their customary reverance by putting them in the top 10. At least the Coaches have enough sense to drop them to #10. The AP ranks them #7!

I wouldn’t have a problem with it if we had a loss but when we’ve won all our games and Texas and ND hasn’t then we should be ranked higher. You even said Ohio st got in over us in 2016 because we had one more loss so what’s the difference now besides it’s Texas and ND having one more loss. It doesn’t matter now but it will matter at the end of the season especially if we have the same amount of losses because we can’t get in front of ND and Texas when they have more losses. I don’t think any team besides Maybe Clemson will go undefeated. It’s just the same pattern from these voters on certain teams. I just want in the playoffs especially if we win the conference and it’s frustrating when they vote like they do. If we can’t get in the top 4 we don’t have a shot. Still more football to be played
Well I will throw my nickel into this discussion...You lose you move behind the undefeated teams and work your way back up...This is the problem as they rig these rankings to make sure their sacred cows are playing trumped up ranked teams each week...Hell half of the SEC conference is ranked in the top 20 and they have how many in the top 10? PUHLEEZE stop the madness....Texas? Who in the name of the Lord have they beat worth a lick the last 4 years? How bout Notre Dame? When have they beat anybody worth a darn? They lose every big game they play...The system is rigged...I am gonna make a prediction right now in the middle of September...Alabama, Clemson, a 2nd SEC team and a team from the Big 12 will be in the playoff this season...The B1G and Pac 12 won't make it in again...Alabama could lose 3 games and they will still put em in...It's a joke and a farce...

Can't compare a ranking 4 weeks in to a ranking at the end of the year in 2016. Once we prove ourselves over the upcoming weeks we will move past Texas and ND.
If we play up to our potential and go into our bye week 8-0, We will be ranked in the top 8, probably even higher because some of the teams above us will lose. Really, at this point I don't think the voters know exactly what to make of us. We are young with a lot of talent, but they aren't sold that we will bring it all together.
As I said, if we are 8-0 there is no way ND or Texas is ahead of us. In fact, I'd bet we jump them after beating Iowa if we are 6-0.

3 Oklahoma or Texas most likely
4 is up for grabs but if Ohio st gets left out 2 straight years regardless of why you better have your chit together if you want in on that 4 spot. This year I think they take another SEC team if they have 1 loss.

With all the rancor about in season rankings, each passing week they become more accurate. The final ranking is always the best. One factor now impacting the final ranking is the increasing number of players who do not participate in their team’s bowl game.

Oh yeah that was the year that UCF went undefeated and got passed over and proceeded to kick the crap out of the Auburn who handed Bama their only loss of the season? You mean that year? Those rankings? The year they took a team out of the playoffs for LOSING their conference title game and put in a team that DID NOT even QUALIFY to play in their conference championship game? Wisconsin was in if they won the Big Ten title game, but they lost.
Seems to me that he addressed it. Wisconsin's lone loss was by 6 points in the Championship game. Alabama's lone loss was by 12 points in the regular season, they dont make it to their ship, but still are welcomed to the dance? Is there any wonder why some people smell a rat??

No, he didn't. He said a one-loss Alabama team would go over a undefeated Wisconsin team... which isn't true.
Also, I don't believe any team that has lost their championship game has ever gone to the BCS Championship or made the playoffs
