During this Holiday season I think its only proper and fitting that we acknowledge, even if only in a small way; All the work he puts into trolling. Imagine the life he'd have if he only realized that there's a whole world out there beyond Nits of The Roundtable. Where would we be if this troll should happen to wake up one day and say: "today, I'm leaving mom's basement and going to got out and find the world"?

Back to Terry Smith - it is nice to work with/play for people with passion. To see the caring. Not to minimize war but Terry and I believe MC is someone you'd like to go to war with ... if you had to go.

Terry has looked and coached better in game than JF ever did. Dude is a class act from what has been seen over the past serveral months.
IMO, nothing was lost coaching wise with JF departure; and I think recruiting will be just fine.
Quinton Martin looks like a natural runner: patient, speed, and can plow. Runs a bit upright, needs to bulk up another 20 lbs or so without losing speed.
@psu61 I agree 61 and it’s a new era for Penn St football and imo MC is walking into a good situation because of Terry Smith and this years team that fought like hell to get a winning season. MC has some tough decisions coming but because of the way this season ended it’s not a shit show like it could’ve been. MC is walking into some big time momentum winning these last 4 games and I’m pretty sure this dude will take advantage of it. Just goes to show how deep this team is with talent. It’s a new era for Penn State football and good days are ahead. How sweet it is baby!
If MC were to keep AK I wouldn’t have a problem with it because the offense ain’t looked bad the last 4 or 5 games. I believe yesterday with Poindexter running the defense shows Jim Knowles was a complete disaster the defense yesterday looked like a Penn St defense and Clemson had their Starting QB. DDS was going against Clemson starting OT yesterday and what a game that dude put on I’m proud of that guy. DDS was never the problem either. Just saying.

I always knew Smith was irreplaceable when it comes to recruiting but man what an incredible coaching job the guy did after JF was fired! As #61 has said the guy is a class act and I hope we find a way to keep him in State College forever.
IMHO what we have witnessed since the firing of the name I refuse to say, was the stark difference between a politician playing to an audience saying what he thought people wanted to hear vice a humble servant leader. Terry Smith is a true leader. I am extremely happy that Penn State gets to keep this awesome man in the organization! The college football world would be a much better place with more Terry Smiths and less Lane Kiffin’s and that man that shall remain nameless!!
