Been reading several threads and posts from you guys about what we should have realistically expected from this team vs our hopes and dreams.

Ya'll know I'm a golfer and not a very tall person.  But every morning when I wake up I expect to be 6' tall, every round of golf I play I expect to be under par.  But, every morning I am still 5'3'', and my average round of golf is about a 76.  On occasion I will shoot under par, but those days are the minority.

But, I will never change my outlook on life, I still expect to be taller, all rounds will be sub par, and every year the Nits will go undefeated.  The talent is there to do that, and with Franklin (for now) the talent level is ever increasing.  Doesn't mean it will happen, but it could.

So .... Hello Everyone, my name is BOB, and I'm an optimist!

Several years ago, at my wife's "urging" I joined a golf league. "It'll be good for you"she said. "You'll get your mind off work" she promised.  Do I joined. I wasn't any better In August when the league ended than I was in April when it started.  In fact, I could  throw my clubs further than I could hit the ball. You golf a 76? Heck I did that in 9 holes. My scores were higher than Kevin Spacey's weiner at a sausage festival.  I never golfer again except for one time in Egypt where the caddy cheated so bad even I was ashamed!!

Well Bob, I have the 6' going for me. I do expect to get an occasional par on a hole or two, but par for the whole course?!?! Not in my life time, no matter how many beers I have during the round!  Hmmm, maybe I should stop drinking once my swing gets relaxed....nah! Where's the fun, if you can't enjoy your day? Just like this years team expectations, hope for the best and learn to accept the way it turns out.

lol Although, I probably lose close to 76 balls in the woods/water a year.
