Let's say the Dawgs get it done, Pitt pulls the upset, Buckeye's come back down to earth and lose to NW and Texas spanks the Sooner's. The SEC would mostly like get two teams in. The top 4 tonight would be the top 4 Sunday. There would be no way UCF or Mich would jump into one the top 4 spots. And there is no way GA and Bama would play against each other in the Semi final game.
1) GA
2) Alabama
3) ND
4) Clemson
Then UCF would get in.
No way they let UCF in.
I believe the people pulling the strings wants these 4 team. I still believe Ohio st will get in. We will see.
Rephrase:
Then UCF should get in.

That's why having 2 divisions within a conference and then a Conf. Championship game is ruining the chance for an awesome playoff system. 8 Conferences, 8 Winners get auto bid and then 8 wild card picks. That way if a team goes undefeated and wins the conference they are in. But a 1 loss team within that conference can still make the playoffs.
We will still need a committee or something to rank these teams for seating purposes and for the wild card selections. 1 Caveat - no more then 3 schools from one conference can get in.
Still leaves room for "Bowl" games to reestablish old rivalries that ended due to realignment.
UCF should get in anyway no matter what happens... They have won 24 straight football games .. Beat "mighty" Auburn in the bowl game last year... Remember Auburn beat the unbearable Alabama team last year the last regular season game... To not have them in makes the whole thing a sham and a farce.. .
FD, it pisses me off knowing that this scam committee is going to put Alabama in rather they win or lose. That takes pressure of the Tide. I’m sorry, you win....you in....you don’t..you ain’t, it’s that simple. Both Bama and Georgia know what’s on the line Saturday. I’m sick and tired of Alabama and Ohio st getting rewarded when they lose. Win or go home baby!
