You've stated that Ohio State has a pattern of getting blown out in the post season, but then say Cincy should not be in because they would get blown out.

So basically you are stating that Cincy should be left out because they would get blown out, but the team you say should go is one you've said has an actual history of getting blown out.

How does that make sense to you?

The last 5 games Ohio St played Cincinnati they beat ‘em and Georgia beat ‘em earlier in the  year with 5 starters out so what makes you think Cincinnati can beat any one of these teams? Cincinnati would have a case had they been able to step up and beat the dawgs earlier in the year. Wins and losses do matter in the minds of the voters that’s why the CFP committee won’t let Cincinnati in plus they know Cincinnati don’t have the studs to compete against the big boys and they ain’t going to let them have all that money 💰 I’m only going 5 games with Ohio St because what happened in 1910 probably doesn’t matter so I’ll give y’all that. Georgia was earlier in the year so that’s on the committee minds.

1. Why do games from the 1990s matter?

2. Why do you constantly say Georgia was missing 5 starters and never mention Cincy was missing 4?

3. "Cincinnati would have a case had they been able to step up and beat the dawgs earlier in the year." You are lying. They did that, but now you just say ND wasn't actually a big dawg... even though you called them a big dawg when they were in your true top 5. Just keep moving those goal posts...

@roaminglion  I was talking about the dawgs in Athens not the big dawgs so I’m not lying. Please read it again and you’ll see

So the only way they get any credit is by beating the #1 undefeated team in the country earlier this year?

Man... Ohio State lost to Oregon and you give them a ton of credit... so that seems a bit weird.

BTW...the bowl game was last season, not this season.  And you again chose to ignore the fact that Cincy was missing 4 starters in that game, but all you ever acknowledge is Georgia was missing 5.

@roaminglion  Georgia won the game. How many times have you heard me say losing games matter rather people like it or not. I would bet my house had Cincinnati beat Georgia earlier this year the CFP committee would have them at #4 but they didn’t get it done. Losing does matter especially in big time games. When you’re having opinions on who gets in the playoffs the past does matter rather it’s fair or not.

It’s the benefit of the doubt thing Roam. I’m not saying I always agree with it but it is what it is. If you look at the last 20 years why should anybody think Michigan will beat Ohio St this year that’s the way people think and when you have opinions in who gets in the playoffs they can’t help themselves from thinking what has happened in the recent past if teams are close like they are this year. I’m a show me kind of guy, why should I think Georgia can beat Alabama when they never do same way with Michigan beating Ohio St.

If you are a show me type of guy, why did you have ND in your true top 5 the week Cincy beat them, but now say that beating ND doesn't mean much and ND would beat them now?

@roaminglion   I’ve never said not beating ND isn’t a good win because it’s a great win anytime you beat a big dawg team including let’s say Texas this year even though they stink, it’s still a big win. At the time I thought ND was top 5. Things change Roam week to week in football that’s what makes the polls fun. It’s not a NFL system it’s all about peoples opinions and that’s why all wins and losses matter. Wins and losses matter this year and years past if it comes down to teams gettin the benefit of the doubt and the benefit of the doubt does happen a lot in college football because they are so many teams with only 4 playoff spots.

So yes or no

Notre Dame is still a big dawg because they only lost once.

@roaminglion absolutely ND is a big dawg just like Texas and USC. Since teams might be down don’t mean they won’t get it back. Give Texas and USC the right coach and they’ll win NC’S.

BTW, I don’t remember what lost we were talking about Coach Fickell but for the record I’d take him as HC at Penn State in a minute

So if ND is a Big Dawg, why do you say they can't compete and would get pounded? ND isn't just a "Big Dawg" historically, they'd be in the CFP for sure if they didn't lose to Cincy!!
