@roaminglion Ohio State is clicking Roam on all cylinders they are good. This is week 10 not week 2. We’ll see when the playoffs get here.

So stop saying you want it proven on the field, because all you do is say whoever you want in the playoff is "playing better" than when they got beat.
I've lost the last tiny smidgen of respect I had for the "true top 5".

@roaminglion it’s college football roam things change every week. I do want it played on the field and it has been and when the playoffs get here we’ll find out who the best team in the country is because it will be decided on the field. This thing is winding down I don’t see much of a change in the CFP committee minds. If they let Cincinnati in I’m ok with it but I just don’t see it happening. They have nobody left on their weak schedule unless you are high on SMU 😂 I’ll admit we need 8 teams but the problem is we only have 4 spots and you see that true top 5 who would you take out?

Sorry, but I just don't believe you anymore. You keep saying you want it proven on the field, but when Cincinnati did prove it on the field you just said said ND wasn't actually that good because "things change".
Yeah, the only thing that changed is Cincinnati won, so you had to explain away how they beat a team in your top 5.
Oregon would beat Ohio State ( IMO ) if they played again in the Shoe this week. I watched them last night, their offense is looking pretty good right now. I think that loss to Stanford is well in the past and Oregon is my #3 team. The same goes for ND ( IMO ). Cincy got them early, but even though ND isn't playing a tough schedule right now, they too look like a CFP team....I got them sitting at #4. I am still not sold on Ohio State. I have them at #5 with GA and Bama at #1 and #2. If Ohio State wins out, I will jump them to #3.

If the big teams can use "looking past" or "don't want to be there" as excuses, then so can Cincy. There is no way in heck ND would deserve to get in ahead of them. No way.
@roaminglion ain’t neither one getting in both teams will get drilled. A&M beat Alabama but that doesn’t mean A&M is top 5. I did have A&M up there but after watching them play and watching them get beat they got dropped. Mtnittany is right I, I don’t think Cincinnati can beat any team in the top 10 right now because most teams have got better since the 3rd week of the year Cincinnati not so much. The CFP committee sees the same thing I see.
So in summary, you don't believe on the field matters.
Give me a break, if Cincy beat Georgia in the bowl game you know full well that you and everyone else would give them no credit either.

This is what i hate... Cincy loses and it is proof they cant compete, if they win well the team they beat wasnt playing well back then and is better now. Circular logic
@roaminglion absolutely not if Cincinnati had beat Georgia they would be in the top 4 right now with Cincinnati undefeated. If Cincinnati had a loss I’d say no but I’d definitely have them in my top 5 had they beat Georgia.

Disagree. Before ND everyone said this was the statement game they needed. After they say it's only 1 game and ND is playing better now.
Had they beat Georgia, the rhetoric would be that Georgia is much better this year, that they were missing 5 starters (even though Cincy was missing 4), and that last year doesn't count.
As you say, it keeps happening so why would the Georgia game be any different?
