I can give some leeway for the Indiana and Ohio State games but today it was totally effortless. What is going on with this team? Have they given up? Is there pushback on coaching? From a talent standpoint and despite losses due to injuries and NFL departure, this is a GOOD team! We know there will be early departures for the NFL but if Penn State fills up the Transfer Portal then we will know something is wrong with the program, notably coaching. Forget about recruiting, today was an embarrassment.

Man lake I don’t see any play makers on defense except maybe porter. Our DL isn’t getting any pressure on the QB and our LB’s ain’t gettin to the ball. The secondary is also gettin burn up. Stay safe up there buddy
Think about those two games that JF choked in versus OSU and where the program was headed before those two games and where it is headed afterwards. JF had his chance to take this program to an elite level but he blew it! I believe we are now 16-10 since the famous speech he made about being great and 16-10 is far from it. Players are transferring, assistants are leaving and recruiting is lagging and JF still doesn't know when to call a timeout! All of those things cast the program in a negative light and having an impact on where we are today.
Now think about where recruiting is headed after this game, He's already abandoned Pennsylvania and the elite players in the state don't have interest in playing for him, he gave up on New Jersey and their elite players are now going to OSU and elsewhere and then he loses to Maryland who has already kicked him out of the DMV. Where is she going to go to get players to turn things back around? What assistant does he have that makes players want to come to PSU?

It is coming from the top down, Lake! I don't think the OC and HC are on the same page and I am questioning the DC too. I also am hearing there are some indifferences amongst the team as well....it is not good right now.
I agree, there is talent on this team, each week we see some players starting to step up, but the coaching is keeping them down. Clifford is struggling, but I don't place the blame on him for the offense. The kid is trying to correct ALL of the issues and it is taking away from his game. The defense? I said all along, we need a new DC. They can not close out a big game and they are surely regressing as THIS season continues on.
I am really concerned on how the rest of this season plays out. They have got to get some wins before the end of the season or before the season shut downs....which I still think is a real possibility. How they finish is going to have a direct effect on next year. They better get it going on, find themselves and start playing better or they will be right back in this same predicament next season!
I don't know Lake, not digging the Coaching staff. I swear JF is completely lost at the moment!

All along I thought Franklin's big flaw was game management, but now I believe I'm wrong. His problem at the moment appears to be motivating the troops (players & asst coaches). This team has gone in the tank and all he can do is throw them an anchor instead of a life jacket.
