Auburn will have to throw ridiculous amounts of money at any established coach to come there, because over the past 10 years they have shown themselves to be complete clowns regarding how they treat coaches. Why would any rational person with a good job want to go there? It's a constant migraine of unimaginable proportions. Win a title, fired two years later. Go to a title game? On the hot seat seemingly every year after that because.... well... CLOWNS everywhere.
They didn't used to be this way, but ever since the late 2000's they've been a dumpster fire of headaches for anyone coaching there. Any coach who can actually consistently win there AND have the respect of their fans has accomplished something pretty amazing.
