FFS can he just pick someone and stick to it? Why does he have to do this all the time? Starting RB is x -OR- x -OR- x. Backup LB is x -OR- x -OR- x.
All the time with his rosters, everything is this or that... everyone gets playing time, it's a ...fluid... thing, etc. etc. etc.
JUST PICK A GUY AND MOVE ON. You know what was great about 2016 & 2017? None of this. No swapping guys on the depth chart all the time, no weird, funky rotations. Every starter knew where they stood, and so did every backup. Sure, if you didn't produce you could lose your job, but nothing was ...fluid... week to week. Best teams we've had under him, and on those teams players knew their position on the depth chart.
@roaminglion I agree Roam. Franklin needs to just pick a few starters and go. I am sure part of this is a product of the portal. Gotta say the right things to keep everyone happy but these kids are not stupid. They will know and go to the portal regardless so just play to win with the best player. Even if that means sitting a senior for a freshman.
I can already see a running back rotation this year which means we won't have any. Pick two, one is your starter, the other a backup and let them get into a rythem.

Saw an article on PL where Caziah Holmes has transfered to Florida State. I felt great when I saw Ja’Juan Seider's reaction:
“That’s the decision that kid and his family had to make,” Seider said. “We’re in the era now with the transfer wire that it’s everyday. The worst thing you can do as a coach is coach scared or timid that you might lose a kid. I have to do what gives us the best chance to win here at Penn State.”
Hip, hip hooray for Seider! Wish Franklin would take that attitude when making depth chart decisions.

Southern - I am telling you, something is going on wierd!!! I mentioned the other day that the number 409 keeps popping up at me....I looked at my watch several different days ( just randomly) and the time was 4:09, bought a bagel and coke and the amount was $4.09. TODAY, I got gas and the price was $4.09 per gallon.

@mtnittanylion We Parked beside Penn State fans at the race Mtnittany. The dude had a big oval Penn St head on his car tag and of course I had my Penn St hat on. I really didn’t know how to respond on what beenthere did because it was so nice. Life has been so good for me baby and I have some great friends. It was one of the nicest things anybody has ever done for me. I’m so blessed to know so many good people. Thank you again my friend I’ll always remember this. We got a game game Thursday night and I’m starting to get a little butterflies, how sweet it is 😁🇺🇸🍺

I fished it the past two Saturdays down here in Southern York Co and I wore a life jacket the entire time when I was motoring. The rocks that are USUALLY 6' under the water (where I fish) were only 6 inches under the water. Caught 4 fish total, they were feeding on Shad and that was all they wanted! Hard to compete with THAT with artificial lures.
