If you are 0-10 vs. Top 10 teams since 2016, but almost every year recruiting at an elite level...
 It means you aint developing chit. All you're doing is using talent to beat up on weaker teams, and completely folding in big games because your talent isn't developing.
 At this point, I really don't want to hear it. It is inexcusable

all kidding aside, I'm only on this site often enough to have a general opinion of the posters and that comment might be consistent with past comments. In all honesty, it is a great comment and it would be good for James and his crew to hear the comment.

Have a great day.
@roam
Have you changed your opinion of James Franklin? Â
@sky I've stated I wouldn't have given him the extension, and that he had to prove something. However, I was at least hopeful.
However, yes... my rose colored glasses are fully off. I don't think he has it in him to make a playoff. He will never be an elite coach.
As I've said numerous times, I'm not a big fan of star ratings. The only thing stars indicate is a kids potential. You still need to coach & develop the raw talent. This is where I believe Franklin and his coaching staff have fallen flat. As they say, great potential can get you fired. Unfortunately, with the long term contract in place, I don't see Jimmy being fired.
2-14 supports that statement and there’s no legitimate argument against it.

I wonder if there’s a rating that compares a recruits rating coming into college vs what it would be when they finished.
We put 9 guys in the NFL last year talent isn’t the problem, the coaches are the problem not getting these guys ready game day. I do believe the team is better especially the OL but until we get better at QB we will struggle but saying that I still believe Clifford is the best QB that gives us the best chance to win. Allar just ain’t ready so why get him killed. He looked bad the little time he was in there yesterday. Should’ve give CV a few snaps imo.

I never thought I’d see it but Roams messaging changed a year or so ago.

My saying is, if you've been told you have potential more than once, you haven't done shit!.Â

 We had 8 kids drafted, and 1/2 of them were players from the portal that didn't come here initially. So what does that tell you?
 To me it's an indicator that the players we are recruiting aren't being developed, because we have to go into the portal to get guys to fill gaps.
 Also, when teams like Ohio state and Michigan have draft picks they're usually high picks because they've developed their talent. Most of our guys under Franklin are later rounds. Is what it is
