Did you see how Wyomissing manhandled Southern Columbia? SHUT DOWN! This is what happens when you play real football teams. They weren't playing their normal inferior opponents! They had Southern running in circles. Exposed!
I have to admit that I didn't see either of those beatdowns coming...I anticipated Rutgers playing a better ballgame than they did and I didn't expect Maryland to turn the ball over a half a dozen times or whatever it was...That Iowa/Maryland game should be a blueprint of what Penn State CAN'T do...They can't go into Kinnick and throw the ball all over the lot and put the ball on the ground...Penn State has been excellent at protecting the football so far and that trend must continue Saturday if they are going to go into Iowa and come out with a W...
@the-funeral-director I believe Lee can be the real deal if he’d run like Tony Hunt instead of trying to be like Barkley. He’s a horse and he needs to run straight ahead and run over people. Lee is the key to gettin this running game going and I believe we can if he runs like Tony Hunt, full steam ahead.
I would tell these backs you get one cut then hit the hole...I actually think all the backs are good they just need to make a cut hit the hole and take what is there...I also believe there are too many missed assignments by the OLine and the timing is off as well...They have a lot of work to do this week...
