This could be a seismic shift in the Big Ten for 2022... It is rumored that now Wisconsin is a front runner for Caleb Williams' services.
If that happens, Wisky immediately becomes the unanimous favorite to win the Big Ten West and a bonafide CFP contender. That would be a Russell Wilson type move for them. Maybe even better.

This wouldn’t be consistent with what his father said when he entered the portal. His father said Caleb wanted to go where he had the best chance to develop into a NFL QB. A coaching staff that was experienced in producing NFL QBs. If that’s his criteria, he should follow his coach to USC. Wisky hasn’t produced a good NFL QB since Wilson and that was a long time ago.
@lionbacker99 and he transferred from NC State

Well the kid's father isn't him, I take what parents say with a grain of salt. Sometimes they speak out of turn, it happens.
Also, to be fair all of those recent Oklahoma QBs in the NFL transferred from Texas Tech, Alabama, and Texas A&M. Did Lincoln Riley really develop them, or did he hire mercenaries to run his system? Rattler didn't seem to develop under Riley, and that was a freshman recruit.
QBs can develop anywhere... USC hasn't been producing anyone of note recently either. Darnold? Sanchez? Barkley? Kessler? All NFL busts.
Spot on, Roam.
look at Josh Allen: Wyoming!
@roaminglion You seem to be in a mood recently. I’ll refrain from an argument here. It’s not worth anything to me either way.

Not sure why pointing out Oklahoma and Riley didnt develop QBs, and USC hasn't recently either is being in a mood...
But okay.
A QB and an Offensive Line....Wisky may have something there.
We’ve dominated Wisconsin last 10 years so I don’t know how their OL is any better than ours. The team who wins is better.
For the millionth time, winning a game does not mean a specific part of the team is bad or good. It means Wisconsin as a team was not as good as us, not that our Offensive Line was better.
Georgia beat Alabama to win the National Title, that doesnt mean Stetson Bennett is a better QB than Bryce Young.
All you ever hear is Wisconsin having a daunting defense, NFL RB’s, good QB’s and a great OL but yet we dominate them the last 10 years with a bad OL and QB’s except McSorley so what am I suppose to think? With a bad OL we still put out better RB’s. To much hype with Wisconsin IMO. Bottom line is we have better players and that’s why we’ve dominated them.

"With a bad OL we still put out better RB’s"
Johnathan Taylor is from Wisconsin and lead the NFL in rushing. Melvin Gordon was also in the top 10 for rushing yards this year in the NFL.
So... please explain how "we put out better RB's" when Wisky has the leading rusher in the NFL and another guy in the top 10. We have 0.
Wisky also has a lot of OLs starting in the NFL. What are you basing any of your statements on?
@roaminglion us kicking their butts the last 10 years. Taylor is a stud I’ll give ya that but I was talking about while they were in college. Regardless of why Barkley and Sanders have slowed down.

Johnathan Taylor's 3 college seasons:
2018: 1977 yards
2019: 2194 yards
2020: 2003 yards
In what world were PSU running backs better than him during that time?
@roaminglion Barkley could have if james Franklin didn’t take him out of games. IMO james Franklin cost Barkley the Heisman by trying to be mister nice guy he should’ve run the score up in a few games to get Barkley more touches. NFL is a different animal that’s why I always said let’s wait and see what Barkley does in the NFL before we start comparing him to LJ. The biggest thing for RB’s in the NFL is surviving 6 or 7 years with gettin hurt. Barkley might recover but I’m not optimistic about it. Taylor is a stud I said I’ll give you that. I’ve just always thought Wisconsin was overrated.

In Saquon Barkley's best season he had 1492 yards and averaged 5.5 YPC.
Jonathan Taylor's worst season he had 1970 yards and averaged 6.6 YPC.
Try again, Barkley averaged a whole yard less per carry, playing more wouldn't have mattered. Also, lets consider Taylor sat at the end of games too.
My point is that's a big difference, and Taylor isn't THAT much better than Saquon. He just had THAT much better of a line.
I honestly don't believe Taylor is a better back than Barkley...He has just had the benefit of running behind far superior OLines in both college and the pros...I actually hope the rumors are true and that Barkley is traded to the Bills...I would love to see this guy play on an offense with a competent OLine and a good QB...I am amused by all of these folks who are labeling Barkley washed up...The guy is 24 years old who just played the past season on a team with by far the worst offensive line in the NFL and possibly the worst offensive line the NFL has seen in the last 25 years...The starting QB went down and the backup QB went down...Their WR corps was hurt and if my memory serves their projected starting WR's may have played 1 half of football together before injury took em down...I am banking on Barkley having a great season next year and especially high on him if he gets traded to the Bills as the rumor mill is saying he will...
@the-funeral-director Totally agree, if Barkley had the OL at Wisky and Indy he'd be ridiculous.
I’m pulling for him to recover but when the injuries start piling on in the NFL retirement is right around the corner. Peterson recovered let’s hope and pray Barkley does because he was so fun to watch play and he’s great for the sport when he’s healthy. Playing RB in the NFL you got about a 4 or 5 years window on average it may be less than that.
My wife works at Villa Rica high school and their slogan is We Are..VR and look who showed up recruiting today. The dude on the left is the Head coach a dude I went to high school with and the dude on the right of Kirby was my sons High school coach, he’s from Pittsburgh and he’s got brothers and cousins I believe wrestled at Pitt.
@southern-psu-fan Did they come in on a helicopter? What is the last name of your son's high school coach? Who was Kirby recruiting?
@lakerie yes sir, landed on the football field. Seth Rogers was my son’s football coach. They have a few players he was looking at. Villa Rica won 3 games in the playoffs but we got our butt kicked in the 4th game
