I just read on PennLive we picked up a punter in the transfer portal from Colgate. He averages 42 yards which ain’t to bad if he has some good hang time but this dude has experience and he’s ready to go. We’ve been spoiled the last 4 years with a good punter hopefully this guy will fill in and have a good year.
I respect your optimism, Southern, but I don't like the transfer portal. I just feel that in 99.9% of the cases, the baggage that comes along with the kid isn't worth it. I'm sure I'll get blasted by a lot of fellow Nits, but this is just my opinion and I'm entitled to share it.

I hope he can help out his intramural team this yr, Southern, that's about all the punting he can hope for this yr..
We did get a good kicker from VT last year, right? Can’t remember his name

Jordan Stout, kickoff and long range kicker. Nice pickup for sure
roam, a guy like Russell Wilson that played for NC State and Wisconsin who do they say their home is? Probably depends on the player but the year he had at Wisconsin I’m assuming he thinks Wisconsin is home but he did play 4 years at state. I’ve asked before but didn’t really get an answer from anybody

I believe he's said in the past he is a Badger, but mainly because his coach at NCST punked him. He told Wilson that he was too small and would never play in the NFL, and then named Glennon the starter even though Wilson had started the previous 3 seasons.
Needless to say, the Badgers saw something in him that NCST didn't
