Thanks lakeerie and tsuga, we are doing okay. The sky for the past few days was a reddish orange hue and it smelled like a chimney. Staying inside as much as possible, the fires are about 30 miles east of us.
Lots of people evacuated to the fairgrounds near us, so we helped out there a bit. Also gonna donate some money to the local restaurants, even though they are struggling due to COVID they were still bringing a bunch of food to the people in need. The community is really stepping.up here, it's inspiring to see actually.

We've been helping the restaurants Gamberetti's, Brick & Mortar, and Novak's here in Albany. Good people.
As for the fires, they have levels of evac. Level 1 means get ready and have a plan, level 2 is you should leave, level 3 is GET OUT NOW. We are on the other side of the Willamette River from the fire, but most of Albany isn't. That said, some of Albany did get a level 1 alert but now the winds are blowing the fire back on itself. So hopefully since the winds are blowing it towards already burnt areas, it will help control it.
