and get back home healthy! I am a little nervous here. If you go back to 2021, Penn State had Iowa on the road and Illinois at home and lost both games and ended up going 2-6 in the last 8 games. Now they face the same two teams again back to back, except Illinois on the road and Iowa at home. Now, I realize that was two years ago, but Penn State is not facing Delaware the next two games, these are teams that can play football and teams that on any given day can beat you. I like what I am seeing the last two weekends, but this is a big game for Illinois and this is the first road game for Allar & Co.
This is the game I have circled. If Allar can put Illinois away - and I mean by 21 or more - I am going to feel really good about the Iowa game and what is to come. Don't ask me why I circled this game, I just think Illinois is one of those teams that you really don't know who is going to show up....just like the Illinois vs Michigan game last year. Illinois had them on ropes and didn't finish it!
The spread is 14 and I like Penn State by 14......31-17. I would go 31-10, but they fell asleep against Delaware for a minute gave up a big run for a TD. And WVU was able to run against Penn State, so I am not sure we can keep Illinois off the board....too much.

We owe Illinois and Iowa a beat down and this is the perfect year to give it to ‘em.

Illinois was not ready for Kansas … maybe they were looking ahead or maybe that are just not as strong as predicted.
