I have to give James Franklin credit, he appears to have pulled together a very strong Team for the season and that includes the coaching staff. Getting Manny Diaz on staff has made an incredible difference. My hope is that Manny stays for many more years. Failing that, my hope is that he mentors others to be able to perform as a future Defensive Coordinator with the same efficiency and effectiveness. The 2022 defense was exciting and the squad should be even stronger this year.
Agreed. Manny is awesome! Me thinx we should enjoy him while we have him 'cause I don't think he'll be around much longer.

We could have lucked out with him considering what he's been through...
It's quite possible his time as a head coach showed him he is a DC at heart, and it's where he belongs. Hopefully that's the case, and he doesn't get the itch to be a head coach again.
