Also gives the kid a legitimate out; shoulder injuries aren't fun especially if you can't lift the arm without hesitation; that's a disaster for further injury.

If Allar's arm gets hurt or he aggrivates the injury today, you would have to question the wisdom of playing him... let alone against a 4-7 team.

I thought the team doctor made the decision rather they can play or not? There’s no way James Franklin would play a kid if he didn’t think he was good to play. If he’s been clear to play then he plays there’s a lot riding on this game for Penn St

There is a difference between a doctor saying a kid 'can' play, and a doctor saying a kid is at 100%

We all saw his arm last week. IMO there is no reason to play Allar

I don’t think there’s any doubt after watching the game that DA is was good to play. I never thought James Franklin would’ve played a kid if he wasn’t healthy enough to play. DA played good and hopefully he built some confidence going into a good bowl game. I still believe he should’ve let Pribula play a little more especially knowing the defense was shutting down the Michigan St offense but in the end it was a good night.

Yup, very good news.  Here are 2 headlines I'd like to see:  "Diaz committed to Penn State for 2024" & "JoMo to lead Lions offense in 2024".

We shall see what we shall see I guess.

Good news on NS, he looked like he was running with a purpose last night. The right OC will exploit Ds with NS and KA.

I didn't say he wasn't good to play, I said why play him if you can sit and rest him to see what Pribula's got. We didn't need him, so after he hurt is arm last week it's the perfect opportunity to play #9

@roaminglion oh I know,  I was just saying he looked good last night and he didn’t look hurt at all. I agree with the  way you were looking at it 100%. Why take a chance if the kid is hurt. When it was 21-0 Pribula imo should’ve played more but I guess DA needs to get better too.

Not really, Michigan State is a bad team with a terrible defense. Hard not to look good against them.

Michigan, Washington and Ohio State all lit them up for 38 or more...  They are #92 in total defense, and the Big Ten doesnt have great offenses. Lmao
