What do you think is going to happen?
My guess is with nearly the entire state of Michigan wallowing in self-pity over the severe injustice foisted upon them and thoroughly embracing the role of victim, the red-headed stepchild of the Big 10 slips into Detroit and rocks Ford Field. While #15 and #10 are taking out their 2023 frustrations, the defense is having a feast on the hapless Spartans. At the end, Penn State leaves with a 52 to 10 victory and is well positioned for Bowl Season.
I look for a beat down as well Tae. 45-13 Penn St Allar putting up big numbers but just getting out with a win, eyes sasified lol
I think the defense keeps Sparty out of the end zone! They may give up 3. The offense scores 38 and who knows, maybe most of those points come under BP who takes over for a struggling Allar!
Penn State 38
MSU 3
Go STATE!!
@mtnittanylion I don’t like distractions especially with a first year kind of struggling QB on the road. I’ll take 7-3…just win the game. Lol….i do smell a butt kicking coming though
Jimmy ball gets us a 31 - 10 win.
Probably the last time we see many of the defensive stars in a Penn State uniform. I think they play lights out for one last NFL audition. No confidence in this offense though. Will it be Michigan game or Maryland game offense. I’m guessing in between like Rutgers game 27-7.
If BP gets the go, he has to throw the damn ball. It’s gets to be too predictable.

I’m hearing that other than linebackers and one or two lineman coming back for year 6 the defense is going to be gutted in the off season. If Manny leaves it will almost be a total rebuild.
i thought they already said Allar will get the start Friday night
@psujoe yeah I heard Allar was starting too. Who knows if he’s 100% that quickly. I do think BP will get some playing time though either way.
This is MSU's bowl game and they hang tough.
I think Carter finally plays a lights out game with 6 solo tackles, 2 sacks, and a turnover recovery as this will be his last game; I think Singleton has had enough and will pop a long one even if he makes a decision to pop a play in the opposite direction or return a kickoff from the endzone as JF looks on in disbelief; Allen will rush for 75 yards plus one TD; Warren will have one TD; QB play will consist of 133 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, and a toush push TD.
Final score:
21-13
@psu61 how will this be Carters last game? He’s a true Soph.
@psujoe I’m glad he’s got another year homer we’ll definitely need him next year.
Kobe King leads the team in tackles this season and is probably the most over looked player on the team. He may be the best linebacker coming back next year.,
What is the saying.....A good offense is your best defense! If the new OC can get it done, we should be ok rebuilding the defense. We have plenty of talent on offense that is not being coached well.
GO STATE!!!
@mtnittanylion lol I though it was the other way around. Feed a cold, starve a cold....
How about offense sells tickets, defense wins championships, or something along those lines.
@rip Hope we see some offense tomorrow night!
I think it's gonna be more Jimmy ball, BT. Limited playbook, conservative offense, play not to lose and leave it up to Manny & his D to get us the win!
@rip we agree 100% on your post BK but I believe it’s a good thing but I don’t think you do lol….this season is what it is so we may as well try and get 11 wins baby and hopefully fix the QB position next year. Let BP get some snaps and that’ll make me happy but get the win
I agree Southern. Getting the win is the most important thing. However, if DA is healthy, I don't think we see much of BP. Jimmy is sticking with DA unless we get JoMo and he transforms BP into the 2nd coming of TMcS! JoMo will tell Jimmy what it is.
I have to wonder if the Meatchicken game counts as Franklins annual brain fart and if it doesn’t we’re in serious trouble tonight because we all know he’s always good for at least one. An away night game on a short week Friday night is typically a problem under this clown of a coach but MSU may come in less prepared or motivated than we are.
Win or lose? All I can predict is that it’s going to be ugly.
I'd much rather start Pribula and tell Allar there's no reason to push his arm. Just sit, watch, and get ready for the bowl game. Perfect oppurtunity to let Pribula run the offense and see how he does.
If we lose, we lose. Dont coach scared, have confidence that a kid you recruited and say you have confidence in can get the job done. See what he can do, and let Allar heal.
What's the poi t of playing him anyway, he couldnt lift his arm at the end of last game.
@roaminglion I agree. Start Pribula and play to win instead of the usual play not to lose.
Also gives the kid a legitimate out; shoulder injuries aren't fun especially if you can't lift the arm without hesitation; that's a disaster for further injury.
