We’re celebrating my grand baby birthday today and we’re having a party for her but we all hope to be back at Brett’s in time to watch the game. My daughter-in-law always dresser her up on game day she looks like a Penn St mascot and Man she got it going on baby 😂 Let’s go Penn State!
Happy Birthday to you're grand daughter. Enjoy the party, but get on here asap. We need you today, Southern! Just win baby & go 1-0 heading to Rutgers.
@southern-psu-fan Have fun and get all the time you can with family! Happy for you man, give that kid a great birthday!
It's her birthday, cut her a break! You just want to get your hands on some of her cake, lol.
I don't think the committee has the nerve to take 4 teams from the B10 and SEC, and you know the SEC gets 2 teams even if 1 isn't AL.
So the real prognostication is what non SEC/B10 Team goes.
@underlion I believe if Michigan and Ohio St play a close game Tennessee gets left out and the SEC gets 1 team. The Tide ain’t good on defense this year and people know it and they really ain’t that great on offense this is the weakest team Alabama had had in 10 years one year they lost 3 games. Alabama still should’ve beat Tennessee they missed a FG. That win don’t look as good today as it did a few weeks ago. We gotta keep taking care of business and get to 11 wins and finish in the top 5 that’s the goal. We ain’t getting respect because this is a top 5 team we got and I told y’all last week that it’s a joke with some of the 2 loss teams in front of us we had a pretty tough schedule but it’s the game against Michigan that leaves a bad taste in the mouth I guess. Like I said, just ain’t good enough at QB to beat Georgia,Ohio St and Michigan but we can beat the rest. We should jump up to at least 6th this week. PAC, ACC and big 12 are garbage
I’m not feeling the SEC this year except for Georgia. I believe we’d beat LSU their losses are definitely worse than ours. This is the year that I believe Michigan and Ohio St can beat Georgia. Don’t be surprised if the NC comes from the big 10

It doesn't matter, because both Michigan and Ohio State's schedules suck by comparison. Outside of playing us, neither team has played anyone of significance.
That is the way they're going to look at it. Tennessee clobbered #6 LSU on the road and beat #9 Alabama. Neither Ohio state or Michigan can match that.
@roaminglion ND was ranked 5th when Ohio St beat ‘em. I also believe it’s time for another conference to get 2 teams in and if it’s Ohio St and Michigan the committee would love it. Tennessee might have a better shot in over Michigan than Ohio St.

The comittee doesn't care that Notre Dame was #5 when they played Ohio State. They care what ND did the whole season.
If your comeback to UT beating two currently ranked top 10 teams is Ohio State beat a highly overrated team in week 1... you've already lost.
What if LSU beats Georgia in the SEC championship game do they take LSU with 2 losses over 1 loss teams like they did us in 2016? LSU has 2 bad losses and getting blown out by Tennessee makes it a bad loss. IMO I believe they take Ohio St over Tennessee just like they took Ohio St over us, it’s just how they are. LSU beats Georgia they might leave both teams out and that will be fun to watch 😂

They would take Tennessee, in 2016 we got absolutely curb stumped by Michigan and lost to Pitt. Comparing that to a Tennessee team who only lost to the current #1 National champions is ridiculous.
LSU is a tricky case though, unlike us in 2016 they would be getting the #1 team in the nation in the championship game... Not a Wisconsin team that always comes up short in the committee's mind.
@roaminglion if LSU beats Georgia Tennessee is out regardless it will be between LSU and Georgia and LSU got curb stomped by Tennessee and got beat by an average at best team Florida St or you probably think they’ll take Tennessee over LSU and the SEC champs gets left out?

Tennessee would not be out, It would certainly be a tricky situation but they would not be automatically eliminated.
Another thing, LSU would be playing #1 Georgia, not a 2 loss Wisconsin team. Them getting in would not be comparable to us.
Stop changing the goal posts, this was about both Michigan and Ohio state getting in and now you're trying to make it about some weird SEC trifecta.
@roaminglion not really, I just don’t believe the SEC should get 2 teams in every year especially this year with the SEC being not as strong. Maybe LSU beats Georgia and they take Georgia, LSU and Tennessee because the way you are seeing things that’s the 3 top teams? I hope it happens
Roam, I found 3 or 4 articles backing up my post above about gettin 3 SEC teams in and I can copy the article but when I try and post it here it says forbidden because of spam. It’s never done this before is it something I’m doing wrong? 1 article is Sports Illustrated. Thanks
@southern-psu-fan That's fine, but we weren't talking about any of that... we were talking about Ohio State and Michigan both getting in, yet now you're arguing that the SEC will get 3 teams? Pick a lane brother.
@roaminglion you’re convinced the big 10 ain’t going to get 2 teams in and you were talking about 2 SEC teams gettin in so I just went with that because the conversation kinda changed. We were talk about LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan and Ohio St gettin in the playoffs
@southern-psu-fan No we werent, you said Ohio State and Michigan would get in ahead of Tennessee, I said they wouldnt. I only mentioned LSU because they and Alabama are better wins then anything OSU or Michigan has based on rankings.
UT is not being left out because Michigan played a good game against OSU. They will jump whoever loses that game.
Simple fact is outside of us, the committee views everyone else in the Big 10 as trash. The SEC's 4th best team in the CFP rankings will be #8 Alabama. The Big Ten's 4th best team is unranked Illinois.
@roaminglion when you say Tennessee is going to make the playoffs and they won’t even play in the SEC championship game I was assuming you was thinking the SEC was going to get 2 teams in that’s why I went there. We’ll see in a few weeks how all this pans out but if you’re right which you may be about Tennessee then we might have 3 teams from the SEC in the playoffs if LSU beats Georgia. If it does happen this just might force the funeral director to come back. Get your butt in here FD 😂
