Some of y’all might think Minnesota holds some weigh but the CFP committee is laughing theirs butts off. That was a bad loss yesterday and I’m trying to be nice 😁
You're being a conspiracy theorist who thinks the committee only cares about a few teams and screws everyone else.
Give me a break Southern, Pitt sucks and has sucked and they didn't give a rats azz that Clemson lost to em. Now for some reason they care about losing to undefeated Minnesota?
Yeah that makes perfect sense
I laid the last 3 years out on why I feel the way I do it has nothing to do with conspiracy theories or faith nothing can shatter my faith it’s actually impossible To shatter my faith. I’m just looking at the facts and the last 3 years is what I go on. #1 is the committee telling Penn St we know you won the big 10 and you won the conference but we want Ohio st anyway because we still think they are better than you regardless what happened on the field and you winning the conference! Clemson 31-0 over Ohio st was the results what else should we judge on lol
I’m not being doom and gloom either because I predicted 10-2 a d I still believe that’s a good season and a great one if we go to the rose bowl and get a win. If we win out that’s exactly where we are headed and if we get beat by Ohio st we might end up in the capital one bowl which is also a great bowl game nothing to hang your head down about anyway. You can have a great season and still have an awful loss and IMO that’s what is goi g to happen.
No disrespect but what have y’all seen from the committee the last 3 years to think they are crazy about the big 10 champ? I ain’t seen nothing but no respect and Ohio st was champ the last 2 years
Hey Southern, I believe it's been discussed several times here that the reason the BIG champ(Ohio State) didn't get in the last 2 years was because of the total beat downs they suffered from unranked Iowa and Purdue. Of course in 2017 they had the Oklahoma loss also. I agree with Nitnation above and pretty much everyone that if PSU wins out they are in the CFP period. Now having said that, I'm not even completely confident in next week's Indiana game let alone OSU.

Actually that was MtNittanyLion above but perhaps Nitnation would agree also 😅
Think about this, Georgia gets beat by an unranked SC team at home and we lose to a ranked Minnesota team on the road and Georgia is ranked in the top 5 when we’re 11th and we supposed to have the tougher schedule lol. Just like ole southern these voters ain’t buying Minnesota and this is proof. Also you noticed the Tide didn’t drop far either lol. They ain’t buying brother a d neither am I. It was a horrible loss and these voters know it. Man Minnesota ain’t the 7th best team in the SEC must less the country lol. Y’all can try and prop up Minnesota if you want but it’s still Minnesota and when you lose to Minnesota our the door goes the respect and playoffs.

I'm not propping up Minnesota but I wouldn't say they are the bad team you're making them to be either. You keep saying that the BIG champ was snubbed by the committee and it's been discussed many times the reason. I'm just saying if by some difficult chance PSU runs the table, the committee is putting us in no doubt.

Southern just thinks the committee believes the front of the shirt means more than how you actually play. All just one big conspiracy.
It's always the same, someone beats a big dawg they got lucky... if a big dawg losses they just had a bad day... who cares if you look like crap on the field if your Uni says Georgia on it.
Same old nonsense I seen practically every fan board for every team. Every fanbase believes they have some weird bias set against them
Why is Georgia ranked in front of us then? We lost to a ranked team on the road and Georgia lost to an unranked team at home and we’ve had the harder schedule. Georgia is in the top 5 and we’re 11th. We lost to 7th Minnesota and SC ain’t nowhere to be found
I think the only way we go to the Rose Bowl is if both Iowa and Wisconsin beats Minny and then OSU wins the B10. If us and the gophers both have two loses they go because they beat us. Of course we win out and that takes care of it all.

Because Georgia lost before us, and they beat #6 Florida. That's why.
Why are they ranked ahead of Oklahoma... who is another one of your Big Dawgs? Heck, we're ranked ahead of them too. Is there a conspiracy against the Sooners now too? What about Oregon?
Every year there are anomalies like this that affect "big dawgs" as well as others. It's nothing new. Regardless, we'll see the real rankings tomorrow, the AP and Coaches poll mean nothing.
I can tell you this, if we beat Ohio State we'll jump ahead of pretty much every other 1 loss team. You can lock it.
In 2016 Penn State was left out because they had two losses. One to Pitt and a blow out to Michigan. Ohio State made it in because their only loss was to a well improved Penn State team on the road. They weren't taking a two loss team.
In 2017 Ohio State was left out because they had two losses. A blow out against an unranked Iowa team and a pretty solid loss against a #5 Sooner team. Again, no two loss team was selected.
Last year, Ohio State was left out again because ND went 10-0 and the Buckeyes lost bad to Purdue and went into OT with a bad Maryland team.
If Penn State wins their next three games, that is two wins against two rank teams...one most likely being ranked #2 in the country. I think this alone will be enough for them to get in if they win the Big10. It would be best if Minny stays undefeated, but if they don't, I still think a one loss Big10 Penn State champ get's in.
No matter what, Penn State MUST win out to have a shot and it starts this weekend against Indiana!
Go State!!
