That would be great but this goes well beyond Saturday night and two wins isn’t going to fix much. Pat Krafts seat is red hot right now.

Beating USC and Michigan will get things going in the right direction for sure. We need something good to happen and winning solves 99.999% of your problems in sports.

USC defense is terrible just pound their defense and USC struggles coming east to play on everything I’m hearing.

@southern-psu-fan   yeah but the Northwestern run defense was 128th in the nation, and the Northwestern pass defense was 80th in the nation.  The USC rush defense is 43rd, and their pass defense is 96th.  Roscoe and the receivers should be able to move the ball.  But during these past 2 weeks, it appeared as if Roscoe was trying to throw the games ........ not the ball

@tae-buetel true but it would help if the OC would try and establish the run. The NW defense also stinks and they had 3 starters out 😂

Those ratings of NW and USC are relative to who they have played.  I don't have the energy to interpret them.  NW played IU tight, I know that.

Ya know, I have had that exact thought pop into my head several times this season. For a QB that was supposed to be so good it sometimes looks like he is throwing games and not even trying to win.

From everything I saw the last 2 weeks I don't see Penn State hanging with this team...I figure they are going to lose by somewhere around 21 to 24 pts...No way we are going to be able to score with this team...I am figuring 45-21 or something in that range...Although I have no idea how the hell this offense is going to score 21 pts...That article is more or less lining out what I have been saying for months...They spent all that money on stadium and facility renovations and don't want to invest in a team...Then they wonder why the hell nobody is going to the games? Lunacy...Hey idiots...I can tell ya why the stadium is empty...This is Penn State and the fan base is used to winning...Put a championship caliber team out there and watch what happens to your game attendance...Lose to Wisky when you are up 17 pts. in the 4th quarter and then turn around and get the shit kicked out of you by Northwestern and you brain surgeons are wondering why nobody is going to the games...I am going to say it one more time and then I am going to keep my cakehole shut...If these people aren't willing to pony up 50 to 70 million in NIL money to put together a top roster they might as well forget about it...Shrink the stadium capacity to 70k and accept being mid to lower tier...This is professional football now...You are going to have to pay to play and if not get used to getting beat by these teams every year...that's it...The talent isn't there...

They’ve been announcing bogus attendance figures for years. It’s been obvious ifor the last couple years that in games I’ve attended the stadium was 75-80 percent filled at the max but official attendance was announced at over 100K. They like to brag about 108K STRONG but have only been filling the stadium to that figure once a season for a while now.

And then the solution they come up with to fix the issue is raise prices! Apparently it makes sense to someone but not me.

You get the money if the tix sell, doesn't matter if they show up or not. Well, in the short term anyway... because soon people won't be buying in the first place

When I first started attending games the stadium was packed no matter who we played not this BS huge swaths of empty or sparse upper decks and 75 percent full student sections. And the announced attendance was the real attendance not some facade to support a claim of 108K strong.

Didn’t Amari Cambell leave because he said he wasn’t being paid fair? If that’s true whose fault is it? Did MC have a hand in this? We need LB’s and that dude was a stud and we let him walk because it was about money if I remember correctly.

This mess is the fault of PK. Then MC comes and brings the Penn state Cyclones to town, a talent poor team trying to compete in the B1G. On top of that he handed significant NIL to them. Whatever else do you expect. The Big 12 all star qb is mediocre this league.
Less talent ,poor run defense, no running nor passing game =
SC 34. PS 21

I hope not, but my eyes don’t lie on recent performances.
I will watch the game and hope I’m wrong.

Well like I said earlier...All that money dumped in to renovate the stadium and upgrade the facilities is for nothing if you refuse to pay for a competitive team...They might as well have brought in a couple of dumpsters and burned that money because at this point it is for nothing...I am going to see morgues with more action then at that ballpark as it stands now...I ain't looking for choir boys I am looking for great football players...This is about wins and losses...I don't think that game tomorrow is even going to be competitive...I don't see them staying within 21 to 24 pts. of that outfit...My expectations are so low that I ain't even going to be pissed off let alone aggravated...It is what it is...Pathetic...

@the-funeral-director I don’t know why but ole southern have a good feeling about this game and we get the win. It may be because we’re playing against Danton Lynn defense from last year and I don’t ever remember Lincoln Riley playing defense…we’ll see, dang we need  a win…bad baby!

Linebackers aren't the problem. Ours are fine.

Morning line moved to PS -2.5.
That’s a significant overnight move, 1 point.

most of the late money is coming on PS, which is generally from the betting pros.
I don’t know what they see, but generally they are not wrong.
I hope so, maybe NW was a one of!

No, the line is what the gambling houses make their money from. It is not wrong, the amount of money coming in on a team, moves the money line. The houses are in business to make money not put out lines that “suck”. A significant amount of money came in on PS overnight. That moved the line to SC + a field goal(+2.5).
