So I just saw were Penn State's defense is ranked #4 preseason....unofficially. Overall Penn State is coming in around #15. There is absolutely NO reason they are not 5-0 heading out to Iowa. I hope the heck they don't let Buffalo turn into an APP State game and Maryland pull off an upset scare like they did against Ohio State. Iowa is a well coached team and they produce some great players. But by week 6, I would expect the Penn State offense to be dialed in and the bugs worked out....including JF! If they can keep their act together, Penn State should be sitting inside the top 10 when Michigan comes to town. ANd if last years performance is enough to fire these kids up to lower the boom on Michigan, nothing else will!!
I am liking Penn State's odds already to run the table. Fields is NOT going to light up this Penn State defense like Haskin's did. Fields is not going to be anywhere near the QB Haskin's was ( not in the beginning). Get in and out of Iowa with a win and I think Michigan is in big trouble. As for Sparty? I expect to see Penn State all over these guys from start to finish.
