I hate to say it, but I think it is going to be a long shot for College football. I just cant see the entire team going all season without anyone testing positive now that I see what is going on with Texas. PSU will need to keep the players in a hotel, not allow them to go to classes or be around others who have not been tested....good luck with that!
FULL STADIUMS, BANK ON IT!! How much are you wagering again Mr. Murray? I may want some of that action!
As I said. Not getting high hopes. That applies to HS football too. They already canceled 1 game down south somewhere. No guarantee.
Ok, this is a scenario. HS football starts, 2 weeks later a few players test positive. Do you think they will continue the season? I highly doubt it, no sir re bob. I mean really, school is canceled because of a snowflake, so what makes anyone think they will continue football?
Another story I was told but I have not yet confirmed it. Governor is only allowing 50 percent capacity for all fall HS sports. ? Reality check. In the last few years I have not really witnessed anything more than half stadium to begin with. That's what is going on in my area, lack of interest in players and fans. Or just complete laziness to get off the couch and do something.
It appears Dr. Fauci isn't very confident of football this year as well...I hope Roam is right about the vaccine coming soon....
thats the man I listen too FD. Hopefully we get a vaccine soon. Man, it will stink if we don’t get no football this fall but life is more important.
I am keeping my fingers crossed! I still think football will happen as long as we don't have a major spike in cases. Hopefully the players do their part keeping healthy, but they are kids and JF will need to keep his eye on them as much as possible.
GO STATE!
i know that’s right brother I’m hoping as well. Fall just won’t be the same without college football but we both know life is more important we have to protect our elderly and our sick.
