An Oklahoma State Rb says he won’t play football because he doesn’t like the shirt his head coach wears lol. I guess it’s a republican tv station but IMO if you don’t like the mans shirt then don’t look at it this crap is gettin stupid players telling coaches he can’t wear a shirt gimme a break
The "new normal"! The inmates are running the asylum!
james Franklin would’ve let the kid walk and so should the coach at Oklahoma State. Bob, I’ve got Comcast and I don’t have that channel and I’ve never watched it but if somebody wearing a CNN shirt or a Fox News channel shirt offends you you really need to get a life and stop being a wuss lol. Bob, that’s the 2 channels I watched that’s why I said them 2 channels just in case it offended you... just kidding buddy lol
I hear you Southern! Maybe the coach should wear an Oprah Shirt, lol! If I were the coach, I'd suggest he enter the transfer portal to find a coach who wears a shirt that he likes.
I'm pretty sure it's less about the actual shirt and more about what he thinks it says about the man he's playing for. Mike Gundy made some, shall we say, interesting comments during the COVID crisis and now there's a picture of him wearing a OAN shirt.
Now, I'm giving some benefit of the doubt to the player here, but I'm guessing this was more of the last straw with his coach rather than the inciting action.
I'm sorry, I guess i'm just fed up. Football is a game, a diversion from the more important and serious issues of the day. I wish people would keep that in mind. Why can't coaches just coach and players just play? I'm not saying they shouldn't have political views or causes they believe in, but don't ruin the sport by using it as a soap box! I once had a very smart boss who said, "I realize you have problems and concerns that are important to you. So do I and so does everyone else who works here. This job is tough enough the way it is. It'll be a hell of a lot easier if we focus on the job we have to do and leave our other issues out in the parking lot."
