I was just looking at Michigan’s schedule and it’s really not all that impressive. We can beat these guys. Take care of the ball and play discipline football and we will win. I’m not sold on their QB either, get some pressure on him and he gets rattled. If ND and NW can get him rattled we should be able to get him rattled. From what I’ve seen this year out of Michigan they are only as good as the QB plays. It’s time we put a good game together and get this win baby. They looked slow in the games I watched, they remind me of Iowa but not as good at QB.
Although I think Michigan will win the game, this contest is absolutely winnable for the Nittany Lions. Our defense is solid and if the receivers that Trace throws to hold on to the football, Saturday will be a great game for JF and his team.
I think the game is won in the trenches. Our OL vs. their DL. Whoever wins that matchup wins the game.
Our OL has been winning in the trenches but the WR’s and RB’s haven’t took care of the ball. We have to catch the ball and not put it on the ground that’s where we win. The OL hasn’t been the problem. I believe they’ll hold their own. It’s up to the WR’s and RB’s to step up to get this win.
I agree with you southern..Ill pick UM to win with homefield advantage, (NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE BIG HOUSE REFS), but UM is eminently beatable..Theyre getting a little too much love from the media pundits..The D is great, the O, is pedestrian..
You may be underestimating also, the ND Defense..They have been the one constant, the strength of the team all season..And have 3-4 guys who will get some All-America mention..
Strong game from Trace, and the D, no doubt that PSU can win this..
Amen, Southern, receivers need to catch & hold on AND we need Trace at 100% healthy.
