Several people are relorting that the delay of announcing is due to the BoT wanting full reinstatement and the OSU president not agreeing with that opinion.
The president wants a harsher punishment, whatever that may be. It's a tough spot, because if they are going to suspend him further they better not make it only a four-game suspension because that may be viewed as cherry picking games that don't matter but getting him back for Penn State.
honestly, I think they're best options are either saying he's reinstated immediately because he did nothing wrong, or admitting that he did something wrong and severing ties based on that and his history of allowing unethical behavior to flourish
I heard that Urban wants to renegotiate his contract. He wants the following addendum effective immediately. In the new contract it will state as follows:
"You can beat your wife, you can beat your dog; but you can't beat a blow-job".
