I see where Minny's QB is day by day as well. Did anyone catch that hit he took from the Illinois defender? That looked like a deliberate closed fist punch to the head.....and I haven't seen or heard anything regarding that incident at all! They jump all over the targeting calls, but man did they miss this one. Maybe I am looking at differently!
Hey Southern, you know I support you a lot, but I don't think I can jump on your wagon this time. I thought coming off the Auburn win, maybe Penn State was just flat against CMich so I shook that game off. I then gave them the benefit of the doubt when they stunk it up against NW in the pouring down rain. But after last Saturday, that was a flat out beating and I don't think Penn State was ( before the Michigan game ) or will be a top 10 team this year.
Based on the last three games:
If Minny's QB is cleared to play this weekend, I think we have our hands full and this may be another loss.
I also think Maryland was going to be another very difficult win, but their QB out, this may go our way now.
Yes, Rutgers should be a win.
Indiana on the road? Well, it depends on which Indiana team shows up. The one that beat Illinois and played Maryland to the end, or the one that lost to Nebraska. I am not chalking this up as another win for us.
Michigan State at home? You would think we should win this game, but it is really going to depend on how Penn State fairs out between now and then. If for some dumb reason Sparty pulls off the upset of the year against Michigan this weekend.....look out!
Ohio State? Good grief, I don't even want to watch this one! BUT, the last time Michigan Spanked us, Ohio State rolled into Happy Valley #2 in the country THAT same year and we pulled off the unthinkable!! Watch this, the game we should absolutely lose will be the game we win! And JF's job is saved once again!
There was absolutely NO reason to allow Michigan to dismantle this Penn State team in the way that they did. I question the DC inability to adjust his team, but then again, they kept Michigan to FG's 3 times and even added 7 points to the score in the first half. The offense was pathetic! The fact that they thought they were going to run against Michigan is beyond my comprehension. I said this in a post BEFORE this game the only way Penn State was going to have a chance was to throw short passes and/or have more RPO's against Michigan....Grade - F !

PS: To keep my 409 thing going! Went to the store Sunday morning, bought some Swiss Cheese ( love this stuff ), it was on sale at $4.09. My wife ask me to pick some Blue Cheese dressing at the same time. Got some Ken's Steak House Dressing....it was buy one, get ONE FREE at $4.09. I am starting to think JVP is sending a message that UNTIL his statue is back up, the team is jinxed!!! Maybe I need to SPREAD THE GOSPEL in Happy Valley!!!! LOL
@mtnittanylion we’ll finish with 10 or 11 wins. We’re better than what we played last Saturday and we are just better than the rest of the teams we play regardless of who the other teams QB is.
Hope your right!!! It's not the other teams QB's we need to worry about, it is their coaches! We don't seem to have good ones on our sidelines right now!
