2023: Indiana was 3-9. They had a losing record when we played them, no one was spewing chit about them being good.

And you come in every year and try to talk up a trash GT program that has been trash for decades. They play in a garbage conference and will be lucky to finish 6-4. Yea that’s some big bad football you play down there and the rest of the country fears you.
The more I think about our losses in big games the more I think it’s the culture. It’s totally different when comparing cultures at places like OSU,UM,GA,Clemson and Bama vs us. They demand winning teams and championships and all we care about is beating teams that we’re allegedly supposed to beat like Illinois and Wisconsin. When we lose to OSU and Meatchicken every year all we hear is “But we’re 9-2 and going to a bowl”. 9-2 and losing to the two teams that are supposed to be their rivals every year would be unacceptable at those other schools and there would be accountability. At PSU there is no accountability and the head coach gets a contract extension. Say what you want be we’re not going to be a big dog until there is the threat of accountability and I don’t mean putting the blame on and changing coordinators every two years.This crap of accepting losses vs upper tier teams all started when Paternos career was in decline and he told us PSU fans that we needed to lower our expectations. Sadly most of us did lower our expectations back then and we all continued to go to the games but knew when teams like Bama or Miami came into the Beav the chances of us winning were slim. The PSU culture needs to change and it never will until we the fans demand accountability.
One thing that shows we have a culture problem with no accountability is that since the year 2000 we have had the 2 worst coaches in college football vs top teams (Paterno and Franklin)
