@southern-psu-fan Even Wisconsin's line isn't what it used to be
@cohappy every team out there has OL problems some just worse than others. These defensive kids are hard to block today. Bigger, faster and stronger
I think a lot of it is most of the talented guys leave early so there's a lot more turnover on the OL. If any group on the team would suffer due to turnover, it's the Oline. Communication and relying on the guy next to you is more important than anywhere else on the team.@cohappy every team out there has OL problems some just worse than others. IMO it's why group of 5 schools seem to always have good OLines, just not enough talent. Their lineman stay... so while maybe not as talented, they get the communication and have a trust that maybe more talented guys don't because the turnover is so fast.
@roaminglion That makes perfect sense to me roam and usually teams like BC, NW, Stanford and believe it or not Ga Tech usually has a good OL but lately they ain’t had anything to go with it lol
Speaking of your Yellow Jackets, this new coach seems to be doing pretty good. They got UNC on Saturday!@roaminglion That makes perfect sense to me roam and usually teams like BC, NW, Stanford and believe it or not Ga Tech usually has a good OL but lately they ain’t had anything to go with it lol
Brent Key has had great teachers Roam. Dude took over a dumpster fire at Ga Tech but they are looking like a football team again. I remember Jim Brown years ago saying it was painful watching Syracuse play football….I know how he felt lol. Since CK took over mid season last year it’s been fun watching Ga Tech again. I always watched the games but man it was painful lol
@southern-psu-fan I go to most home games so I do not see as many games as some but I remember Wisconsin and Iowa had huge offensive lines but they don't seem to be as big anymore but it could be big is the new normal. You do make sense about the improvement on defense.
