As I have stated many times before...Why bother with the farce at all...Seed the SEC 1 through 12 and let em have their own playoff...Why bother with the formalities of putting 5 or 6 of em in a 12 team bracket...Give em all the slots and let the rest of the country play their own tournament...I mean we all know nobody can compete with that league...They are just too good...I mean look at what Bama did to Mercer today...Another quality win from that league...

Again...Who have they played? You think Indiana is better than Vanderbilt? Kentucky? Arkansas? If the answer is yes then they can beat any of them SEC teams...Win your games...

I don't care, I'm not obsessed with a conspiracy theory. I didnt even mention Indiana or any team in the SEC. Indiana is ranked #5 ahead of all but one SEC team, I'm not speculating about how Heather Dinitch will try to screw em.

Finebaum is a talking head that absolutely zero experts take seriously. He is a talk show host that knows nothing about anything outside the SEC.

Zero people in football respect his opinion, including everyone on the ESPN college football gameday... Popular doesnt equal respected, see Jake Paul

@the-funeral-director it won’t be Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Kentucky in the playoffs, it will be Georgia, ole Miss, Alabama, Texas and possibly Tennessee in the playoffs and these teams will be hard to beat.

Speaking of Texas, it's hilarious that they are the highest ranked SEC team. Their best win is Colorado State.

Was listening to Kings of the North podcast earlier and they stated that it was 55 degrees at the GA vs TN game and TN players were complaining about being cold. It’s gonna be a lot of fun in Dec!! I’m looking forward to those southern wussies and their lobbyist trying to twist things so that as many as possible of their  teams get home field advantage. These guys are stating that the pressure is already on to keep PSU from getting a home playoff game.

Kirby "not so" Smart was whining last night about the committee...Talking about the eyeball test...The eyeball test should be quite simple...Win your games...These SEC teams are about to get exposed with these playoffs...They are going to have to travel north and play in some elements...ESPN and their surrogates are putting on the full court press to protect their business interests...If Indiana loses next week watch them drop down to 10 or 11 with ONE loss to a legitimate top 3 team...This is far from over and when the dust settles on this bank on 5 SEC teams being in and 4 of em hosting games...The narrative is already being spun out there...

I think best case scenario for us is for Ohio State to blow out Indiana And eliminate them from the playoff

If Indiana loses a close game and plays well, they wont fall past #10. If they get hammered, they will fall a lot farther.

I don’t think there’s much chance of it happening, but if Indiana would beat Ohio State we can kiss our home field playoff game goodbye because they are not going to give 3 out of 4 home field games to northern teams

Why wouldn't a 1 loss B1G team not get in when their only loss is to the #2 team in the country? It boggles my mind...

@the-funeral. We both know the CFP committee will take the 2 loss heavyweights in the SEC over Indiana especially since Indiana strength of schedule is around 100th

I dont think we'd drop past the 8th seed even if Indiana wins...

@roaminglion If Notre Dame wins out it wouldn’t surprise me if they jump us along with the SEC and/or ACC runner up which is why I’d like to see Indiana eliminated by OSU.

If OSU dog walks Indiana then they’re out. 2 loss Georgia SOS is #1, IU is #100, huge difference. If it’s close then maybe, Wisky played Oregon tough and Penn State has an out of conference win over WVU plus (USC best LSU). The same committee left out a ACC Champion 13-0 FSU out of the playoff over an injury, you don’t think they’ll punish an Indiana team with an extremely soft schedule that lost their only tough game?

Why would the ACC runner up jump us? I dont see that happening. SEC maybe.

Penn State made it into the Playoff Tree House in the SEC Shorts video this week.  And James Franklin gets a "less than honorable" mention.   The link follows:

Here is where the big lie begins...The strength of schedule is based on rankings...You beat a team that is ranked #10 at the time that counts as a top 10 win...Geogia having the toughest schedule in the country is a joke...These teams barely play out of conference games worth a lick...They load up on teams like Mercer, the Citadel etc...They artificially rank em high so that every week they are playing a top 25 team and more or less play with themselves...NO conference should have more than 4 teams in a 12 team tournament...The problem with the SEC teams this year is none of them are great...You have a bunch of teams that are above average but none of them are great...they have to put in 4 conference champions and a group of 5 team...That takes up 4 slots that aren't SEC teams...That leaves you 7 more slots and Notre Dame is going to take a slot and that leaves you 6...The B1G runner up is going to get a slot and the SEC runner up is going to get a slot...Now you are down to 4...If you have a 1 loss Indiana and a 1 loss Penn State they deserve to be in over any 2 loss team let alone a 3 loss team like they are yodeling about...This is what the regular season is for...You weed out the conferences and go from there...Let's get some cross conference games in there...This is about ESPN and their business interests...Tell Kirby Smart to win the SEC and he is in or not lose 2 or maybe 3 conference games and he is in...Sorry but a loss is not better than a win no matter how much they try to tell you different...

One last point...Kirby Smart yodeling about the "eye test"...Lets put that nonsense to bed as well...This ain't a beauty pageant...They had the miss world or whatever it is called last weekend...This is football...You either win or you lose...If you lose you get eliminated...Like I said...I don't care how good you look losing...This is about winning your games...So my advice to Kirby is to win your games and it won't matter which is something Georgia is having a problem with this year as well as the rest of the SEC conference...

...The strength of schedule is based on rankings...

...and this is where you lose your credibility. SoS rankings are in no way based on human rankings at all. The most widely used SoS ranking system (Sagarin) uses ZERO input from human polls to calculate it's SoS rankings.

That even makes it worse...So they are using scores and statistics to determine a strength of schedule...Once again...Win your games...

So you said that they were using rankings in your polls as evidence it was biased, and when shown they don't... "it's worse"?

Also... "Sorry but a loss is not better than a win no matter how much they try to tell you different..." - Yeah, hard disagree. If Indiana loses at Ohio State 23-20, to me that's a heck of a lot more impressive and meaningful than Alabama beating Mercer 52-3
