entered transfer portal. Interesting. With so much talent behind him makes you wonder, did he already find he disagrees with new coach?
I smell trouble brewing in Happy Valley! Hope I am wrong, but I don't like what I am seeing right now.
MtNittany, Why do you say that?
I’m a little shocked by this one. He did have a down year. This season could be a banner year for him if he stays healthy. I wonder if he feels that Stevens is not a good QB.

I’m thinking the same thing 99
Notre lame is shocked, I guess?
Juwan has had some great moments but it seems he never really lived up to his potential especially this year. Having said that, I am somewhat alarmed at the number of veteran players that have either opted early for the NFL, treansferred or just left the program. Granted this happens at all schools even little, local Edinboro but I don’t ever remember such numbers like this year. I’m also confident we have very talented underclassmen that pushed these guys but the element of veteran leadership is lost.
I agree Bill. Some of the players that left the team left for medical or family issues, some were not really impact players and saw the writing on the wall because of the talent on the roster, and some are going to the next level. I don't look at it as alarming or a mass exodus. Obviously CJF is recruiting quality players and developing them. Look at the combine results last year and how well the guys did and how many have a shot at the NFL this year. How could that be a bad thing? As far as JJ I think he is looking for a roster less talent rich at the WR position to try and maximize his playing time. Just my opinion.
Juwan gone. Announced he will not be returning.

Next man up, Shorter has the potential to step in and dominate.
Jahan will be next man up. Look for him to take the #1 spot
Hamler will also be key. With 8 very good to potentially great scholarship receivers back they aren’t lacking for talent at WR
Murr-dog, are these guys being prompted to leave by the coaching staff or are they leaving on their own volition??
My hat's off to the kid for earning his sheep-skin. If he never plays another down, he'll still have achieved more than most.
It’s the way of college football right now I guess. Can’t say why, some may see the writing on the wall, some looking for a check, either way PSU is still in great and losing very little this year

Tsuga, No, that is incorrect. Something going on and we may never know . Don't let anyone tell you something different. Don't be shocked if you see more .

There’s nothing going on idiot. Guys leave every year. Penn State has now lost eight players this offseason, as five have declared for the NFL Draft and three have elected to transfer. It’s a normal number for college football programs, and isn’t an indicator that something might be amiss with the program. it’s players coming in and moving out when they feel a better opportunity, for whatever reason, can be found elsewhere. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Many players come in ... have lots of potential, but only a few actually live up to the hype. Johnson and Thompkins both had hype, but sadly did not live up to it. No tear shed here ...
I heard that when he was handed his transfer papers he dropped them.
Sorry guys, i just had to post that. I couldnt pass that one up.
Nice!
