Was reading an article on PennLive about him decommitting from penn st. I’m not saying he should’ve come to penn st but Georgia wasn’t the smartest move because Jake Fromm is a stud QB and he’s to good to lose his job plus he’s going to keep getting better. Florida would’ve been a better choice IMO if he wants to play early. He will not beat out Fromm from what I’ve seen from that kid, he’s good brother? BTW one 5* has already gone packing from Georgia and IMO it will be 2 when Fields leaves that’s if he wants to play before his Sr year.
Yeah, it was curious that he chose Georgia with Fromm there. But he will probably redshirt and have 2 years left once Fromm leaves. He could have 3 years if Fromm leaves early too.
I've heard various comments that Fields will play this year, not necessarily at QB. They want to get him on the field. I do agree that his decision was puzzling.
SPF-Have you caught the Netflix series QB1 Under the Lights? Great documentary on Fromm, Martell and Bowers (Bishop McDevitt-Harrisburg). The series follows the players in their final season of HS ball.
I haven’t mb but it sounds like something I would like. Hopefully soon I will get time and watch it. We are wide open at work and I’ve been hitting around 65 to 70 hrs a week and I haven’t had time to do anything lol.
