He May have transferred to the wrong team. Do y’all think anything will happen to Ohio State? Nothing happened to Michigan State unless I missed something. I wonder if that’s why Urban Meyer got out of town?
I have my doubts as to anything happening to OSU. You may be right about the Meyer retirement.
I also have my doubts that anything significant will happen to Ohio St, which is very hypocritical of everything we heard in 2011. The really frustrating thing for me is that this recent report was released on a Friday, I think, which is usually what they do with news stories they want to hide. It doesn’t seem to be that big of a story from what I can tell. No 24/7 news coverage on every network. No nonstop talking about it on ESPN (to be fair, they may be talking about it, but I stopped watching their shows a long time ago..around 2011). Where’s the outrage from the sports media blowhards like Dan Bernstein, Mike Golic, Trevor Mattich, Mike Francesa, Joey Galloway, and every other media coward who is now silent? These guys need to be called out. They wanted to burn PSU to the ground in 2011, but not a peep out of them about Michigan St or Ohio St, which has affected far more people than Jerry Sandusky. Cowards.
Yeah it happened to PSU and clearly there was a driving force for that however post event it was even muddier.
My guess would be that networks have put the clamp on this type of commentary due to potential lawsuits, especially when commentary is based on incomplete facts and it turns from simply 'reporting' available info without commenting to network employees commenting like an expert in the subject matter. Who knows if there were lawsuits based on this but were tendered behind close doors during the PSU fiasco.
What a hypocrite Joey Galloway is. I remember all the crap he was talking. Ole Meyer got out just in time. On Meyers defense I really never heard him say anything ever negative about penn st. He was actually one of a few that said we got screwed in 2016 playoffs.

I don't know '61, the networks may have clamped down, but I doubt it. I think it's more like there is no ax to grind with MSU or OSU as there was with PSU & Paterno. In the Sandusky mess, PSU was only colateral damage. The main target was Joepa! The commentators saw this as their golden opportunity to bring down a legend who ruffled many establishment figures during his storied career!
Exactly right bob
