Hes been very tight lipped, not even our reporter who covers SCA football team knows....He's committing on the 31st .....shooting the video next weekend. It's close in my opinion, he really likes Hartline, but my money is on where the girlfriend is......

Fleming said he will not make any more school visits before his announcement. He noted he no longer has a girlfriend at Penn State or one at all at this time.

I think this kid has already silently verbaled to osu. Hartline was the only NCAA coach to attend his track meet Thursday. It seems that the other major coaches in play already know. To me the loss of talent isn't the biggest disappointment. PSU has recruited wideouts at a high level, so even though the 5 star would be a welcome addition, I don't think the needle is moved a whole lot with respect to offensive improvement.
The biggest disappointment in my opinion is the loss of an in state blue chip recruit going elsewhere and especially to osu of all places. It rarely ever happens in reverse.
Doesn't matter, who knows what happens with this season...
Even if the kid does verbal to OSU, it's no guarantee that Justin Fields is going to light it up through the air like the previous OSU quarterbacks did. If he has a mediocre year passing, while Clifford lights it up, you may see a switch to PSU.
it's just so hard to tell with recruits before the season even starts, a lot of the higher star guys make decisions based on what they see on the field.

Micah Parsons, Justin Shorter, and Miles Sanders say hello. Look, it is frustrating to lose an in state kid to a rival. However, I don’t think there are any “must get” recruits. Noah Spence was a “must get” and the next big thing. He really didn’t light the world on fire at OSU. Same with Rashan Gary at Michigan. Franklin has done a tremendous job recruiting since being hired. He is bringing in the best recruiting classes we have seen at PSU in a really long time. I’d have to look back, but if Fleming does go elsewhere, this may be the first time Franklin hasn’t gotten the top rated recruit in PA. There’s a long time left between now and signing day. It wasn’t that long ago we were all wringing our hands that Parsons decommitted. I think Franklin has earned the benefit of the doubt in the recruiting phase of the game.

Agree 1000 times. If Fields struggles and our defense is as good as we think it can be, this might be a good year for PSU vs OSU.
I agree 99. We go to other states and drag in all their good players Franklin has done a great job recruiting and this year won’t be any different. Now I ain’t going to lie I want him to stop losing 5* studs to the Bullpups because it’s killing my Jackets lol
