I don’t think he leaves, he doesn't seem to be on many draft lists. If he left, he might not even get drafted.
Just in the Big Ten players listed for draft spots are Bateman (Minn), Olave (OSU), Bell & Moore (Purdue), and Philylor (Ind). That's just players listed ahead of him in the Big Ten, to say nothing of the rest.
He would really benefit from 1 more year, he is a junior anyway.

He will be gone! His performance tonight will be enough to put him in the first or second round.

What? I assume that is sarcasm 😀
@mtnittanylion. I don’t think so Illinois is garbage and they were without 6 starters
He will be playing on Sundays next year. Just like Godwin did after HIS last game performance.
This season was a mess! We are fortunate to get 9 games in without too many major injuries. A lot of young players got valuable experience and regardless of who they beat the last 4 games, they went from 0-5 to 4-0 and matured as a team. I am also sure they looked at JF's situation with his daughter. Other than one more game, what would the benefit be of playing one last game?
Heck - it was like a white out game tonight with all of the snow piled up in the stadium! Great way to send off the SR's!!!

I mean, Godwin had back to back 900 to 1000 yard seasons and his last game was against a top 10 team. He was also considered a draft pick before his last game. I don’t think the situations are comparable.
Who knows, I just hope he doesn't make a Tony Carr like mistake
@mtnittanylion. To get to 5-5 and show we don’t back down from anything baby. China is laughing at us.
....and there 300K plus US people who wished they could have watched the Penn State game tonight. I am done going out on the street the rest of this year working so I can be with my aging parents and in laws over the holiday. I am surely not going to be the one to ask these players to keep putting themselves in harms way so I can enjoy one more meaningless game.
Just my opinion!
I think he could benefit from another year too! It doesn't sound like he will be coming back from what I am hearing. I don't think things will change much next season, I think you are looking at 2022 before we have large crowds and I am talking 25 to 50 % capacity at Beaver stadium. This vaccine is NOT going to wipe out the virus 100% between now and kickoff next season. We are knee deep in it Roam. My goodness, last month I knew about 10 people who had the virus that I had some sort of association with. This past week I had three personal friends and a close family member go down hard....and one is still struggling tonight. I am talking three of them between 35 and 50 and who were in great health.
Dotson will get picked up, maybe later in the draft, but he will play on Sundays. Some guys need another season, he is not one of them. Might as well practice and learn with the pro's than roll the dice and hope next season is like old times....and I just don't see that right now.
As of today Dotson ain’t good enough for the NFL but I do believe he will get there with some more work. He’s not on the same playing field as Godwin brother trust me on that. Godwin was one of the best to play at Penn State and that’s say something. Really good college WR but the NFL is a different beast. Take care of your parents brother I hope they are able to get the vaccine soon. I’ll wait and go last give it to the people that’s most at risk.
One Patriot News guy has him early second round, I don't see it but if that is where he is projected he should go. A receiver can get hurt and risk not getting drafted the next year.
Maybe he is better than our QB/offense makes him look.
Now if he is projected 4th round....
I think if he's projected at least 4th round he goes.
Prog

I wouldn't see him going before any of the other wide receivers I mentioned from the big 10, And that's 5 wide receivers just from his conference.
I do agree with Joe though, if he was projected or is confident that he will go 4th round or earlier he should leave
Thanks!!
You know what is crazy? The family member is 82, horrible underlying conditions, just recently had a slight stroke and is the only one not all that sick.....and just passed day 14. The rest are 30 years younger and all had to spend time in the ICU. Just goes to show you how unpredictable this thing is! Me, I am staying clear.
On a lighter note. Before the BIG10 canceled the season back in July or August, My father in law (84) called me. We have been to the Big House 4 times - and we are 0-4 there. He said, hey, we are going to Michigan, get the tickets, I am 84 and I am rolling dice! He is going to get the vaccine as soon as possible and hopes to be around for the next game out there....his mom lived to 102, so hopefully I can keep him healthy for a while!!
Football does crazy things to us all!!! LOL
