While Knoxville isn't AL or FL it is not cold like B10.  Playing in this weather takes toughness, physical and mental.  As bad as it was for SMU at least they were the warm part of the day.  OSU got the good time 🙂

I'll tell you what, Indiana looked better against Ohio State than Tennesee has. Yet I am sure all we will hear is how Indiana didn't deserve it and Tennessee just had a bad game.

Tennessee looks physically inferior in every single way 

You can't be watching the same game as me Roam...Tennessee is in the SEC...They have all that speed and their DLines are all stout...Nobody has any business even sharing the same field with that conference...It's cause of the injuries and the field conditions...Even though both teams are playing in the same conditions...

Being an outfielder there are things I find unacceptable in football:

1) Punt returners not judging a ball and catching it in the air ....giving up free 20 yards

2) DB's face guarding a receiver and never finding the ball.  Maybe that is what they are taught.  Watch the receiver and judge when he is reaching for the ball and strip him.  But how often especially on long passes could they find the ball?  You find the ball you know where the receiver is going.  Less Interferences, more INT's.  QB's have to throw better balls.  The PI on the TN guy was a prime example.  He actually had position and the ball was underthrown.  Maybe they are just speed guys and have no ball skills?

TN looks like they realized early they were in trouble and wanted to get back to that heated bench.  This is kind of a bummer making the playoffs and having to travel north....no warm Disney World vacation...

At least AL players will get a nice vacation...I hear Columbus sucks 🙂

Of all the teams in the playoff, Tennesee is the one that looks like they dont belong. Ohio State has just dominated them: 42-10

That conferences nightmare is just beginning...Notre Dame is gonna drill ole limp wrist in the Super Dome...I can't wait to hear him cry and whine...Texas isn't that good either and are going to get drilled...I am hoping Zona St takes it to em if not the winner of Ohio State and Oregon sure will...

The Tennessee defense allowed 19 points per game in the SEC. Only two teams scored more than 20 against them: Vandy (23) & Georgia (31)

Ohio State scored 42 in three quarters and benched their starters. OSU hadn't scored more than 38 against anyone in the Big Ten except Purdue.

I think this goes a long way to dispel the BS notion that the SEC is better "top to bottom". Outside of Purdue, no Big Ten team looked so helpless as Tennessee did last night.

That conference was exposed for the frauds they are...Their comeuppance is on the horizon...Last night was the first act...Wait til Notre Dame drills the limp wrists outfit at the Sugar Bowl...Somebody better put numbnutz Feinbaum on suicide watch and get him the suicide hotline number as he is about to lose control of himself...His delusions continue as he is predicting Georgia is going to beat the winner of the Oregon/Ohio State game...Somebody needs to brace numbnuts that his favorite limp wristed outfit is about to get manhandled and embarrassed by Notre Dame on New Years Day and wont even make the semi finals...As a matter of fact Texas better be ready for Zona State...That fraudulent outfit from Texas will get exposed either by Zona State or when they play the winner of the Oregon/Ohio State game...I am actually hoping Texas wins so they get get destroyed by either one of those teams...I would love to see Zona State stick it to the foghorns...I love it cause now they are crying that these other schools "bought" their teams...LOL...The SEC was buying their teams for years...Nickie "Dodge Charger" Saban was pulling this crap for years...They can't take it that EVERY team can do it now...Somebody needs to get to Paul "Numbnuts" Feinbaum in the next week or so before Notre Dame pummels limp wrists outfit...I don't think Numbnuts can handle it...I believe he will take the gas pipe if he isn't supervised...Lets not even get to when Texas gets theirs...They need to round up the 2 "P's" Paul and Pipe before all this goes down...They ain't gonna be able to handle whats about to happen...As for me...This is going to be the greatest Christmas and New Years in about 40 years...It's amazing what happens when you expand a playoff and don't allow these frauds to play only with themselves..I can't wait to watch limp wrists outfit get crushed by Notre Dame...The excuses, crying, whining, bitching, pissing and moaning will be epic...These people have been bullshitting so much I actually think they started believing their own bullshit...Reality check is coming and they can't cope...

Data supports the point pretty well.  Seemed TN 'lost their starch' pretty quickly.  Realized they were playing with the big boys in the cold.  I expected better from TN...it must get a little cold in Knoxville but I guess few games are played in November in Knoxville and it was brisk in Columbus last night.  Might TX or GA done a bit better?  Sure, but they are going to have to get used to the new setup I hope 🙂

The Pros play in WI, Chicago....

In the last 30 years, Michigan and Ohio State are the only B10 teams to win a national championship. I’m not exactly sure arguably B10’s best team historically Ohio State and most expensive roster this year winning a home game against the 3rd best SEC team really proves anything does it? I wouldn’t be quick to count out Georgia. Kirby Smart is excellent coach and motivator. He won two national championships with a walk on QB, I’m sure he has a game play to execute an offense with his back up QB. Georgia continually has top 5 recruiting classes, Georgia isn’t going to rollover for anyone neither is Texas. I’m not going to argue B10 over SEC or vice versa because that’s a silly argument. There’s a ton of football left to play and Penn State ought to focus on the challenge infront of them, Boise State who have a history of upsetting Power 5s in the Fiesta Bowl.

I don't think ANY team from the SEC would have done better than Tennessee did last night...That conference is overrated and will be exposed as this playoff continues...Georgia is no better than Tennessee is and Texas may be the weakest team of the 3...I honestly think the college football fans need to be deprogrammed from all the propaganda they have been fed the last 10 to 15 years...It's like a person who has been in a cult and breaks free...They gotta be deprogrammed so they can rejoin reality and the real world...What you are watching people is the reason they fought this expanded playoff hammer and tong...They controlled the thing and only played with themselves...They knew that if this thing got expanded and they had to travel to the north to play against different teams they were in trouble...Whenever you pull these teams from their backyards into any type of cold and elements they are finished...You are about to have 2 straight years where the SEC hasn't had a team in the CFP championship game...It's time for everybody to deprogram themselves and get back to reality...The SEC is a conference that has been overhyped and propped up by the media outlet that owns the rights to the CFP and has controlled this thing for years...Shockingly this committee has had some backbone and bucked the ESPN money and influence to create a great and honest bracket...I am sure many of them will not be back on that committee next year...Nobody is happier than me to see these frauds exposed and finally getting theirs...The myth is over...

Fraud? Cult? Deprogrammed? Listen to yourself. You don’t like SEC ok sure but don’t act like we haven’t seen what we’ve seen. TCU beat an undefeated Michigan team then Georgia literally skull drug them 65-7 to in the most embarrassing National Championship in CFB history. What’s that have to do with ESPN? TCU lost the B12 championship game and still made it in. I’m  no fan of the SEC but there’s no team in B10 history that could have beat 2019 LSU. Cam Newton may have had one of the single best single season runs at Auburn in history. Floridas national title run not to mention Sabans utter dominance. I’m a College Football fan and it’s very clear the SEC has one of the best runs in CFB history as a conference and if they’re on the decline so be I’m all for parody. You’re letting your emotions get the best of you just like you did last year when FSU got their face stuck in a pillow 63-3 in the Orange bowl then followed it up with a pathetic 2-10 season to the point they trapped themselves in the ACC with threatening litigation while simultaneously weakening the entire conference so 9-3 teams in the SEC that you hate make an argument against ACC teams being left out in the future.

 The Buckeyes’ all-time record against SEC teams in bowl games is 2-14, a statistic that has been the subject of mockery from SEC fans for decades. It’s 3-14 now. 😂 they put it on Tennessee though gotta give ‘em credit 

Sure...Why do you think that is Southern? Think about it for a minute...The Rose Bowl was virtually a home game for the Pac 12...Warm weather...These teams from the B1G have been playing in ice boxes for a month and are designed to compete in those conditions out of necessity...You see how these southern teams faired when they had to come up here and play a game in the conditions the northern teams compete in for the last 2 or 3 games of their seasons...Ask Tennessee how it worked out for em...You don't think the conditions mattered? Of course they did...How many bowl wins did Bama get in the Sugar Bowl? A home game for them...The 4 team CPF was tailor made for these SEC & ACC teams...Look at how this playoff is set up...If Texas beats Zona State guess where their next game is? You think that's a neutral field? How bout Notre Dame vs Georgia...You think that is a neutral field? From their they go to the Orange Bowl for their Semi Final game...Not as ridiculous as Texas playing the Oregon/Ohio State winner in the Cotton Bowl but it is far from a neutral field...Lets say Oregon beats Ohio State again...They are the #1 seed and are gonna end up playing the #5 seed in their home field...They gotta travel either 3,000 miles or in Ohio State's case about 1800 miles where as Texas more or less can take a bus to the game...You think that is fair? I can tell ya as a former player I would much rather sleep in my own bed and take a short bus ride to a game in familiar surroundings and be rested then have to travel either half way or all the way across the country to play a game...All I hear are these southern teams bitchin, pissin, whining and moaning over this playoff and it is still stacked in the favor of the southern teams...One team out of the 3 have to travel to play a game and they got their asses kicked...The other 2 effectively have home games for the whole tournament...How bout playing a couple of these games in domed stadiums up north or God forbid in an open air NFL stadium up north...The venue's have a hand in giving teams an advantage in these games...My only question is why do the teams from the south always seem to benefit? 

These bowl venues for these CPF games need to change...They were designed to be a reward for the northern schools after the season to go to a vacation spot for the fan bases to follow em out there for a vacation to play in more or less a fun but meaningless game...That isn't the case anymore for these playoff games...These venues for the semi final games at the very least need to be changed up to be a more neutral site...They need to make both teams travel and some of them should be played up north...For a team to have basically a home game for the CFP semi finals is ridiculous...

@the-funeral-director  but the goat Joe Paterno went south and out west and beat every team from every conference and did it 24 times baby. Switzer also had great success. Now the crybaby Tom Osborne struggled so they finally give him a NC. I’m sorry FD, but Ohio State, Nebraska, ND and Michigan has always had their ass licked and has always had favoritism in the BS polls. IMO Ohio St gets their butts kicked playing SEC teams because they don’t have the big 10 refs there to throw these bs flags when the games are on the line it’s ACC, PAC and Big 12 refs calling the games. By the big 10 championship game it looks like the big 10 refs will treat Oregon the same way did you see all the holding on #11? Oregon should’ve been called for holding  all night because they couldn’t block #11. It’s easy for the Oregon QB to have a hay day when the DE is being held. Fudge the big 10 as far as I’m concerned.
