Has entered the portal. This is the former recruit from Philly that committed armed robbery and promptly had is offer pulled.

Should Franklin offer him another chance??

I'd say "NO"

What a stupid question. Obviously you're only here because you're desperate for attention.

Hey niccy!, Meet T'hale! It seems like you two could be good friends.

How long do you keep punishing a minor for it? He served his sentence, and then played 3-4 years for another Power 5 program. 20 years from now are people going to deny him employment because of this?

Just wondering where the line is?

@roaminglion Let him go somewhere else. Had his chance here and blew it. Oregon would probably welcome him with open arms.

I would call the Iowa State coach and then I'd have a talk with the young man.

Either way I don't care, some will say it's bad because he did something 5 years ago and others will say it's a great story about a kid growing into a good person after a terrible decision.

I hear ya, and you make a good point.  I guess what I'm stuck on is he committed armed robbery and pleaded down to robbery as a juvenile.  After all the scrutiny we've been under over the Sandusky mess, I'd be inclined to take a hard pass. I'm guessing if CJF has a sit down with him and brings him back I'd be OK with that too.  People can and certainly do change; and I'd hate to be held accountable for some of the dumb stuff I've done when I was a teen

@PSUJoe: If it was such a dumb question, why did you answer it??

@tae-buetel  That is certainly a good starting point.

LMAO did I? I've given you a pass multiple times because you've claimed to be new but obviously reading comprehension eludes you. I'm only responding to your post now because of your repeated stupidity.

Niccy would love you.

I say why not??  The kid made a regrettable mistake, paid his dept, and hopefully moved on from it. If he's not a good fit because he's not a position of need, then sure pass on him. But if we're holding him hostage because of his past, how are we any different than those that keep throwing Sandusky in our face? Life is all about learning from our mistakes and moving on. It is indeed about giving and allowing second chances, at the end of the day; who the hell are any of us to judge?

PSUJoe: It seems to me you did indeed answer T-hale's question. The guy asked the question, Roam responded with his opinion, and you commented on Roam's post. So yeah, indirectly you answered his question. But I'm not here to split hairs with you. Hope your Holidays go well. In another few weeks we'll be fishing on hard water. Nothing better than lake trout on a cold winter's day.
