We can sit on the couch Saturday eating ice cream and watch Indiana get pounded. Back into our comfort zone. We will have all the time needed and ask ourselves "What happened last Saturday" .
Time to be completely wrong again with a prediction .......... My guess is that since Indiana has the 108th nationally ranked run defense and the 23rd nationally ranked pass defense, Franklin and Yurcich will decide to challenge the Hoosiers with a seemingly endless stream of sideline passes and 4-yard slants to pull all the defenders to within 6 yards of the line of scrimmage before attempting an ill-conceived double pass. At some point, #15 will just start chucking the ball downfield and the receivers will be unimpressive. The game will be chippy early and #1 will get a penalty but he'll also do something that will keep him from getting benched. The other receivers will be inconsistent as will the running backs. When #9 gets in the game, he will run a lot and maybe throw a couple of deep seam passes. In the 2nd half, #23 and #38 will add significant yards to the run total as the Nittany Lions close-out Indiana with a 52 to 13 victory.
