In Penn State's last five losses Penn State has started 11 drives with less than 10 minutes to play and has scored on none of them. Drives have averaged 14 yards.
Better than being blown out but not as good as winning a few. I’m still happy where this team is considering where they could have been. 4 of those losses have seen key missed plays by the guys on the field. Oruariye blew it twice tonight. They need a hands coach.
Time for a change at kicker. Pinegar is not good. Give me my boy VLAD!
anyone notice that sander big run was the same exact play that OSU slammed shut and franklin took heat for? The defense was the same only the end didn’t run a double stunt
I kinda disagree, either win with conviction and leave no question or get blown out and leave no question; otherwise as the old saying goes, a win is a win, nobody remembers losing except for the losing team.
Play calling tonight in the 4th quarter when the game was on the line was pathetic. They once again only needed one first down and couldn't produce and I'm pretty sure the last two drives combined only took around a minute off the clock. And then our QB runs out of bounds saving them a timeout which is another sign of poor coaching plus there was the timeout called by us to stop the clock.Piss poor coaching all around, team once again wasn't ready to play after a bye week. Missed tackles, stupid penalties and did the staff make an adjustment anywhere? I'd also like to ask why is JJ even playing? If they don't have confidence in him he shouldn't even be on the field.
Pretty pathetic that we couldn't get players on the field to exploit their poor pass defense.
I’ll just say for the first time mcsorely looked bad. And what’s with the psu players and the sod? Do they not change cleats anymore? Mcsorely slipping hurt them twice. Missed field goals. Drops again. I agree about JJ. Did see one terrible call that went against psu. Holding on the defense on a run? What?? Bottom line players have to make plays. That dropped int cost them. Time to transition to leaving parsons in too. Farmer was ineffective.
Yes McSorley was terrible and that dropped int was a killer I also agree with you on Farmer. def time to make a changes!. That holding call on the D was a head scratcher and I'm anxious to hear the explanation.
