WTF does amount of players a school has in the NFL have to do with wins and losses today? Your arguments always go off into some bizarre tangent.
If Oregon and PSU would happen to play each other in a Bowl this year will Micah Parsons be suiting up and playing linebacker?
Like I said earlier Oregon will come into the B1G and immediately jump us in the pecking order. USC may not jump us next year but it’s only a matter of time till they do and making it into the 12 team playoff isn’t going to be anywhere near as easy as you think it will be.
Oregon would destroy us if we played this year as would any other team with at potent offense and good defense.
@psujoe college Teams sending guys to the NFL shows results like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St and LSU have winning NC’s and that’s why it matters. Stars matter because when you’re sending dudes the the NFL like Alabama and Georgia does you’ll kick ass on the field. The stats don’t lie in the article. I made a comment just the other day with these teams coming in the big 10 will make it harder to get in the playoffs, you must have missed it. It definitely gets harder I agree with you.
Studs like Parsons makes a huge difference but he didn’t play the year we needed him and Penn St payed the price on the field. Dudes like Parsons is how you beat Ohio St and Michigan but he didn’t play the year he would’ve definitely been a top 2 or 3 player in college.
Oh, so now stars do matter? Funny because they didn’t matter when I told you Oregon has out recruited us for years and signed 6 4star d lineman in their most recent class. And that’s when you when off on this bizarre NFL tangent.
You need to make up your mind and stop contradicting yourself.
What does Oregon out recruiting us have to do with Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio St and LSU winning NC’s when that’s what this conversation was about? I’m not contradicting anything I showed you the facts and you’re dancing around what I’m proving to you! How many times do I have to say we have to get the right QB to win a NC, same goes for Oregon.
I’ve also said being in the big 10 only helps Ohio St we could recruit better playing in the ACC. Penn St turned Ohio St into a beast but if it’s about money it was the right move but stop the crying if this is what you want. I’m only looking from the football side I don’t know how the other stuff works.
If you don’t recall what we were talking about before you turned it into things about the NFL I can’t help you.
Maybe you should scroll up and read it for yourself.
I’m done, this thread gives me a headache.
What does Alabama doubling Oregon have to do with the Pac 12 competing with and beating the Big Ten? Who the heck is arguing Alabama isnt awesome? What are you even talking about anymore? The article did break it down per team I just copied down to Oregon. Alabama is doubling Oregon and IMO that’s why Alabama is in the hunt for the NC every year. Give Oregon the right QB and they can compete but like Penn St they better have the right QB. IMO Penn St has a better defense and that gives them a leg up on Oregon but both teams still need the right QB to win the NC. Auburn, Florida St and Clemson did it but that still very few teams. Stars always matter but that doesn’t mean a team like Clemson can’t recruit a NFL QB and win a NC because they did and did it 2 teams lately. IMO James Franklin knows what he’s doing, he’s just got to get the right QB in here and we’ll win a NC.
You are just trying to point somewhere else as if it has any relevance whatsoever.
And no, the article didnt break it down to an average per team. It showed how many the top teams had... not every team in the conference. Try again.
Not sure you know how any of it works from this conversation, especially if you think Penn State is "the reason" Ohio State is good.I’m only looking from the football side I don’t know how the other stuff works.
@roaminglion I’ll try this with some ghetto talk. Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Ohio St are kicking everybody ass because they always have more future NFL players. It ain’t got shit to do where the games are played and Ohio St ain’t done shit in 20 years before Penn St joined the big 10 so connect the dots.
Lmao... Ohio State didnt do shit for 10 years after Penn State joined either. What... does it take 11 years for that shit to kick in? Please dude, that's some narcissitic BS. You love Penn State... so even other schools having success is because of us. LMAO.@roaminglion I’ll try this with some ghetto talk. Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Ohio St are kicking everybody ass because they always have more future NFL players. It ain’t got shit to do where the games are played and Ohio St ain’t done shit in 20 years before Penn St joined the big 10 so connect the dots.
Next you'll be saying LSU is only good because Arkansas joined the SEC... "because they aint done shit before that". Same exact timeframe. It's just plain ridiculous.
