@roaminglion good point. I find it interesting that Kentucky hired Stein on December 1st 2025, and Penn State hired Campbell on December 5th. Kraft may have been a little slow, but I think the early firing of Franklin caused a lot of turmoil on the coaching carousel and resulted in a lot of uncertainty. Last year felt odd with regard to the number of coaches fired and the number that received mid-term contract extensions.
I don't think Campbell was a bad choice, and hopefully he gets the program back to being competitive in the Big 10 in 2 or 3 years. However, I can't see how rushing 3 against an accurate passer or playing the Prevent Defense will lead to success.
