@lakerie. The blessings kept on coming in for ole southern baby. I was inconvenience a little but it was still a great year for me. Ain’t nothing going to happen on Jehovah God’s watch that he doesn’t let happen, he’s always in control we just don’t see the big picture.

Happy New Year to one and all.  We rolled in to Gramp's cabin about 7am this morning.  He was in his underwear and housecoat (not a pretty sight but just had to paint the picture for ya).

Mr SPF: I wrestled at PSU but I was never a national champ.  Mr Lake is being WAY too kind when speaking about my career. I pretty much stayed out of the spotlight because I wasnt able to break into the lineup!! Unless you really really follow PSU wrestling as closely as Mr Lake does, you've probably never heard of me.

Are you close to Lawrenceville, GA??  I just learned that the gun maker CVA is from down that way.

@thepakid. I live in Temple, Ga but I know Snellville, Ga really good we use to ride motorcycles to Stone Mountain and a few guys lived in snellville. I deliver in Lawrenceville all the time. I just bought my wife a hellcat it’s a pretty good gun that she can carry. Mr Lake is correct brother,  if you even sniff the mat at Penn St you’ve had a great career. Happy new year buddy y’all have a great time.

you were in the line up at the right time and and that's all that matters. I could say more but will respect your humility.

Southern, do you drive or spend time in Gainesville, Ga.? The company I retired from had a huge soybean refinery there, been there many times. Ah yes, nothing so interesting than a soybean crushing and refinery plant (note sarcasm).

@lakerie: Thank you Mr Lake.  The one match I wish I could have a do over in was the one where I got pinned late in the match.  I got caught in a a stupid move and paid for it.  Wish I could wrestle that one over again.

I know (of) the kid, he is  tough, still wrestling internationally but I think you know that. Were you doing any pre covid coaching on the side?

@lakerie: I was doing the occasional wrestling camp and would help out a bit at the local high school from time to time.  I'm actually taking a brief respite from it until my boys are old enough to start wrestling....if they choose to pick up the sport.  Soccer is pretty big in my family too

Most important job you'll ever have...being a Dad. I'm sure you are great at it. I've seen your interviews, Mom, Dad, Grandparents, wife have to be so proud.
