Manny Bowen! Mark Brennan of BWI is reporting that Manny Bowen is back on the PSU roster. Redshirt Fr DE Brailyn Franklin, however, is no longer in the roster. Bowen, puts what was thought to be an inexperienced, questionable LBer unit, in much better shape for this season allowing the younger guys to get up to speed.
I believe we go 11-1 instead of 10-2 with manny starting at LBER LB99.

Considering the lack of experienced depth at LB, hard to believe he gets reinstated without seeing significant playing time! However, not sure if we'll see him for ASU?
I agree mb, he’ll start the Pitt game. I just hope whatever problems he had he has straightened them out. I’m all about 2nd and 3rd chances but after that people usually just have to learn the hard way. And when I say start I mean play enough snaps to help win the game not play the 1st snap of the game. I believe he’ll play enough snaps to help win the Pitt game.
I think that he will play, but he may not start. He will probably have to continue to earn is way out of the doghouse. It may take several games before that happens.
PS shouldn't need Bowen to beat Pitt. If he's a difference maker for that game, PS is in trouble!
Oh I agree mb, Pitt don’t have the players to run with us. Manny probably will only play one play to beat Pitt lol, just saying when he’s needed he will be on the field as long as he keeps his nose clean.
If you're going to post try to make like you know what you are talking about! If it was about just winning games Franklin would not have suspended him for the last three games of the regular season and the Fiesta Bowl! smh
He also was suspended for the USC game and IMO Manny being suspended cost us a Rose Bowl victory, I can’t prove it cost us the win but everybody knows how thin we were at LBER that year. James Franklin cares about the players not just winning football games. Also we don’t know why he was suspended so that don’t mean he’s bad news it means he has some issues but not to the extent of being in trouble with the law. Had he been locked up 2 times that probably means he’s bad news but that’s not the case, we just don’t know but I do trust James Franklin
Guy was suspended when the stable was full. With an inexperienced LB crew, Franklin needed to give this guy another chance. Don’t fool yourself, it’s all about winning today. I get it but maybe some do not.
