@mtnittanylion Oregon defense got exposed playing Penn St no way they can beat Texas. Depends on the Tennessee QB he’s like milroe if he’s on he’s hard to beat.Oregon will get called for holding if it’s another conference Refs you bet on that. The way DA has stepped his game up the last month I believe we got a shot to win it all. As for the 2 INT’s, they were terrible throws and he should’ve threw the ball away or ran on the int that ended the game that was his fault but the kid still played good what got us beat was #11 being held all night and it didn’t get called on time.
Bb
@southern-psu-fan You're never gonna give Oregon credit for anything are you? They are the best team in the country and proved it on Saturday, they can beat you with the pass and can beat you with the run and probably have the best QB in the country. An overrated Texas with their head case QB doesnt stand a chance against them. And to say Oregon got away with holding and act like we didn't get away with it or to say their defense was exposed and act like ours wasn't is ridiculous. We couldn't stop USC, we couldn't stop OSU when it counted and we couldn't stop the pass or run vs Oregon so lets stop pretending our D is elite.
Hmmm......down 14, we score and go for 2 and don't get it. D.
GO STATE!!!!!!
James Franklin said the book says you should go for two in that situation!
@psujoe #11 was held all night and their offense doesn’t look as good if holding was called. Even the guys calling the game said it, it’s just not me. They had a Man down field on a big play that should’ve been called back. When you get to hold the offense always looks good. We’ll see if I’m right because if I’m wrong Oregon will be in the NC game. Oregon does have a good football team but they got away with a lot of shit Saturday night and we didn’t get away with anything. James Franklin also was pissed about it and there’s an article on pennlive that did a piece have SEC refs calling the game against SMU and Boise State and Pennlive done the article because they saw the same shit as I did Saturday night. Oregon won’t get away with that garbage with refs from another conference. We’ll see. The refs didn’t miss anything, they just didn’t call it!
Screw that book, he should’ve kicked the extra point.
Don’t get me wrong homer, I know Oregon will be a force going forward because they have plenty of money and money usually wins.

LOL and it continues. To say they were holding and we weren't is ridiculous. They didn't call holding on either team.
P.S. Oregon isn't a force just because they have money, PSU has money too.
I did give the Oregon QB credit. I said he didn’t make mistakes and DA did and that helped beat us. 7 years he should be good.
Oregon's NIL valuation is around a $23 millionbudget. Penn St 13.8 million that’s a big difference
Jimmy should through that book away. The final chapter is fittingly titled "Big Game James"!

And the title of the book is Coaching for Dummies.
I thought 5 years plus a Covid year was the most you could play college football. That’s 6 years at the most, right?
They are granting way too many injury years to QBs. Kids who played half a year getting another year, freaking Cam Rising is expected to apply for an 8th year next year.I thought 5 years plus a Covid year was the most you could play college football. That’s 6 years at the most, right?
@roaminglion I get the Covid year but anything past that shouldn’t be allowed.
A Big Ten crew will not be officiating Penn State’s Dec. 21 playoff game with SMU at Beaver Stadium, per a report.
And that may not be a bad thing.
The website footballzebras.com, a long-established site on social media with a significant following, is reporting that an SEC crew has been assigned to handle the first-round battle between the 11-2 Nittany Lions and the 11-2 Mustangs.
I can’t read everything but you can see where Bob Flounders said it won’t be a bad thing for Penn St to not have big 10 refs.

Gotta beat Oregon or Ohio State to get in the playoffs next year unless we have a surprise good team that we got on the schedule. 10-2 might not get it.
Oregon has to be the whiteout and they need somehow make it a night game.
Y’all see bill Belichick took the NCAR job. Hope that doesn’t keep us from gettin that QB homer was talking about? He’s an NFL guy I don’t know how this will work out
I’m wondering what the atmosphere is going to be be like for our game. Seems like about 75 percent of the stadium was sold in the pre sale but since then there hasn’t been much interest.
I don't know. I saw an article where a large number of PSU students didn't get tickets because the CFP folks pulled them and put them into the general admission pool to make bigger $$$'s. I can't find the article now, but I believe it was on PennLive.
@psujoe that better be a sale out the Penn St fans better show up. This is the first home game of the new playoffs system. I believe it will sale out.
It’s not gonna be a sellout.
From what I’ve been told about half of the student tickets didn’t sell and are being offered to the public. Gen Z would rather pack up and go home instead of staying for the game.
