We are #6, and playing #11 SMU. If we win, we play Boise State. Both Oregon and Ohio State are on the other side of the bracket. Franklin NEEDS to win the first two games. I like our chances against every team on our side of the bracket.

My expectation is Oregon will be at the Rose Bowl, Georgia at the Sugar Bowl, Boise at the Fiesta Bowl, and Arizona State at the Peach Bowl.
Boise gets Fiesta over ASU due to higher seed, so the Sun Devils have to travel.
That means if we win, we head to the Fiesta Bowl.

@tae-buetel I think we can all agree that we definitely do have the easier path but it is what it is and this is the way the play office set up.
At least now there is a system in place that doesn’t allow the loudmouth to have as much influence.

@underlion We better beat SMU and Boise State. I don’t believe Georgia can beat ND with a backup QB and I not convinced ND can beat Indiana so I love our Chances getting to the NC game and with DA improving every game like he is we got a very good chance to win it all baby. I know he had 2 bad throws that hurt us but I still believe he got better during that game the kid is playing lights out right now I’m loving what I see from the offense.
Now we gotta come ready to play to beat both SMU and Boise and I believe they will. I don’t believe either team has the horses to beat us not many teams do.
SMU should beat PSU in this game. SMU is very explosive and PSU can never win a big game.

Hmmm......down 14, we score and go for 2 and don't get it. Down 8, we are 2nd and 1 with 2 minutes to go in Oregon territory and throw a 50/50 ball down field that gets intercepted. AND, we already scored somewhat of an easy 37 points against Oregon. We lose the game and get a favorable first round draw and a good bracket.

I honestly think Ohio State and Oregon are the best two teams in playoffs and Penn State had both of them on the ropes and let it slip away. And I honestly believe if Penn State can make it through and face one either one of those teams again, Penn State wins this time. The defense was out of sorts, some of the play calling was questionable by the DC, but I think he is smart enough to see his mistakes and correct them. SMU and BYU are not pushovers, but the way the offense played against Oregon, I think they came away with a lot of confidence AT THE RIGHT TIME OF THE SEASON! I think it will be a BIG10 National Champion this year.....and it will be either Penn State or Oregon.
