Sounds as though you made it through the easy part pretty well. Now I'm sure you'll be suffering from frequent pee pee slapping and lectures. Soon to be followed by "the look" each and every time you head out the door or into the woods or even think about getting on the tractor. Give it 6 to 8 months and maybe Mrs T will let you off on good behavior....or not.
I'd be a hypocrite if I joined in on the lecture circuit, that said, let the ball bustin' begin! Ya know, I could have saved you some pain. If you'd have asked before getting into fight w/ your tractor bucket, I'd have told you they very unforgiving and pretty damn hard too. I could/would have told you about a root canal from my 1st fight and a scar that runs 1/2 way down my right shin bone from the 2nd. But you, my lean green friend, have put me to shame. You get an "Exceeds Expectations" for your valiant effort!
I've never had the need to take my tractor w/ me to go looking for sheds. There are lots of deer in my woods, but I've never found more than I can carry in my hands. haha I'll give you the benefit of doubt and figure you were going looking for moose sheds, they'd probably get heavy lugging them back out of the woods.
Here's hoping you're smarter than I am and learned something from your experience.

Frequent pee-pee slapping?? I'd be blind by now. I REALLY need to hear about your fight with the tractor some time. I didn't find the sheds and with 18" of snow coming on Tuesday; i think I lost my chance. I can only hope that he hasnt lost his yet and perhaps can get out next week or the week after.
