@cohappy But the throw also wasn't on the mark - much like most of Cliff's throws within 5 yards - all of these net positive yards if the throw was on the mark.

@tsuga Hey man..I dont know the rules of FF,and  whether your grandson is done with Miles Sanders, but I attended EAGLES -Saints Yesterday, and thought Id give you an  update

Coming off an injury, missed about  a month, Sanders looked good, ran the ball well , 16 carries, 94 yards..a long of 25 yds, ..Unfortunately an old bugaboo ensued, Miles fumbled on his own 5 resulting in an easy Saints score....Inexplicably , later in game, he fumbled again, on his own 5, but got saved by refs, ruling he was down.THis seemed to provoke the coach's ire as he got yanked...but later was reinserted, but that could have been because the back up, Jordan Howard was injured...Mixed performance but he ran hard and well....has to cure that fumble habit..

@culture-thrives: He always seemed to having trouble hanging onto the rock,  Dont know what it is with him.  I'll let my grandson know and perhaps he'll pick him up on waivers.  Every time I pick up a player, I'm reminded that I dont know what I'm doing and 10 out of 10 times he's correct.

Think you guys can hold it together to make it to the dance??  If Cinn keeps on winning I think your chances are pretty good.  Who knows about UGA, they haven't played anyone all year and if Bama beats the in the SEC ship; I wouldnt be surprised if they slip out of the top 4 going strictly on strength of schedule.  OSU seems to be peaking at the right time.  I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict the top 4 will be:

Bama

OSU

Cinn

ND.

It would be nice to see Wisconsin beat OSU in the B1G ship but that isnt likley to happen either!!!

Just so you know, I threw up a little bit in my mouth selecting ND to go to the dance.

Stay in touch!!!

@tsuga LOL, Im happy you choked on that man..as ND fans like to  say, we  know we're back when we're hated again.....

Saturday was  a big day for ND; I said going in, we're running out of gamedays...WE needed at least two teams to go down, we got that in Oregon, MSU now caput..Id say its  now 50-50   Need Ga to beat Bama convincingly; hopefully getting rid of them, or I like your scenario getting rid of Ga but doubt it.....I dont know  what to think about Cincy    Yes its good NDs only loss is to a highly ranked team; BUT we can get by Cincy only if they lose..

Yes Ill be a big Badger fan come two weeks, but doubt it...I agree with AP poll, top 2 now  are Ga OSU..

Watched the Franklin presser today earlier today. Said he still needed to wait till discussing his situation. However, a little bit ago saw an online rumor that the BOT approved and Franklin has signed a $80 Million 10 year contract keeping Franklin around till 2031. Compensation will include additional monies for assistant coaches, major renovations to football facilities

@navylion  if that’s the case brother we may as well get back on the James Franklin bandwagon because we are stuck with him a while and I don’t ever pull against Penn St. I will be his biggest cheerleader if this happens. He’s a great coach when he has his head in the game I just hope it ain’t a Matt Ryan kind of contract and ending 😂  I don’t understand it but I’m pulling for him baby. Personally, I just love the guy I just don’t like what I e seen the last 2 years.

@t-hale  im at the point to ask the people in charge if the goal is to win a national championship with JF? Because if they think we can with JF,then they are blind . Someone else said ,aside from OSU , JF lost games this years by not being able to coach on his feet . I will tell you , that 3 out of the last 5 games vs OSU , some other coaches would have won those games as well. Assuming he is here next year , I would put him squarely on the hot seat to have to go 11-1 ,10-2 and hopefully be in it at the end with a shot at Indianapolis . Anything less than that i would say its time to go in another direction

What do you expect from the A-holes that stabbed JoePa in the back.  They have no clue and I don't think they really care if the football team competes for a B1G or has a shot at the playoffs.  Seems they're happy to just keep throwing money at Franklin and settling for mediocrity.

Whelp... any hope of competing for a NC in the next 10 years just got flushed down the drain. There might be a few more seats available for season ticket holders to choose from next year as I don't foresee myself supporting mediocrity much longer.

Michigan State and Penn State both got duped. Michigan and OSU will rule the B1G East for the next decade plus.

Well, nothing to do now but support him and hope he can become an elite coach. Need to get that OLine humming though

I'm happy with it. Like I said before, to me it's much more than wins and losses.

Sure I get frustrated with his decisions just like everybody else, but I don't want my university stoop to the level of some others just for the sake of winning. I'll  keep buying my season tickets.  I never get to use them but my extended family still does.

I agree guys, get back on that bandwagon baby and let’s hope we see a bunch of wins come our way. For the record, I thought the OL played better Saturday against Rutgers I know they don’t have a great defense but it’s not a garbage defense and they played pretty good. I believe the coaches knew this was coming and their heads were in the game of football and we kicked the chit out of Rutgers with a true freshman QB so there is something to be excited about. Best game the OL has played since the auburn game. Let’s finish this thing off with 2 more wins.

IMO, if it's NCs that fans are expecting, the only way that happens is if JF gets an O'line coach and an O'coordinator who can put the scheme together and work it out, provided that JF can get out of their way and let them do their job. If not, PSU remains a 2nd to 3rd tier program in the BIG with an occasional breakthrough year, e.g. NW, Iowa, A&M, OKS, TX, WV, etc; $7mill/year is a chit load of money to put up with that for more than another year. That's the reality of the status of this team, coaching staff and what the Admin is willing to pay for.  As they say, you gotta lot of potential, too bad you haven't done shit with it.

@rip Sound as though they're going to be throwing a little money at the facilities too.

Sorry but that team is known as loseRU for a reason and kicking the chit out of them is nothing to get excited about unless you've lowered your expectations.

A 10-year extension with a pay increase   …………

The decision makers must be considering a unique set of metrics which are not commonly applied when determining value ……… or maybe this is a classic case of the Sunk Cost Bias / Decision Trap.

But hey that #9 QB looks promising and the team responded positively to his performance.

Do you honestly believe the BOT or anyone for that matter care whether you keep your season tickets or not??

Since I've been on here all you've done is gripe about the team as if they owe you something, and post baseless rumors that are mostly false.

Why not just chill out and support the team??
