The officiating in this Cincinnati game is a disgrace... Targeting on an offensive tackle and he never made contact with the other players head... He just happens to be Cincinnati's best lineman... They can't have a sacred cow lose.. 14-10 Cincinnati at halftime... I thought Georgia would be up by 3 touchdowns by now... I mean these lower tier conferences just can't hang with the big Dawgs... SMFH...
That was a stupid penalty on #55. It was targeting he dropped the head and hit with the crown of the helmet. Hopefully Cincinnati can hold on and get the win. Man I can’t stand the Bullpups
I understand. But the officials have been instructed to error on the side of safety especially when it comes to the head.
Should have been targeting, absolutely right call. Can't lower the head like that and contact with the other players head is irrelevant by rule.
You try to hit ANY PART of the other player with the crown of your helmet, especially after the play... you are gone.

Depending on the source it was 5-10 players. Injuries and opt-outs.
I am certain 5 players opted out, but beyond that the info is kinda sketchy.

I always pull for Bama unless it negatively affects Penn State. LIONS #1 always.
