@roaminglion  roam, I couldn’t find it but what are the numbers on both teams gettin the ball? The team that wins the coin toss can be deceiving if both teams have the ball. The team that wins the coin toss may get some wins because they get 2 Possessions. I did try and find it but couldn’t and you’re a guru on this stuff.

I literally told you in the last post. In 13 playoff games, 8 times the team that lost the coin toss never touched the ball.

I must admit I figured the stats on this would be one sided but I had no idea that the stats would be this one sided especially when it comes to the playoffs...To me it's just common sense that any overtime would include each team getting the opportunity to possess the football equally until one of those 2 teams outscores the other with their possession...

@roaminglion   You said in the playoffs I was talk about regular season also but regardless the rules are the rules and no team has an advantage when the ref flips the coin it’s a toss up on who gets the ball first. I could care less the Falcons usually lose anyway but the only thing I will say this is the NFL and the rules of the game are usually harder than college and if you want to win go make a play like Cincinnati did, it can be done. I agree it’s harder to win if you lose the coin toss but this is the NFL the baddest athletes in the world where all the big dawgs play. The NFL and the union wants the games over asap after 4 quarters that’s why we have these rules. I don’t think the defense can take much more pounding after 4 quarters and that’s why we have what we have.

@southern-psu-fan  So long story short, you're saying that this is the baddest athletes in the world so the rules don't have to be fair.

Sure, okay.

@roaminglion   I’m sure some NFL players complain about the OT rules but I haven’t ever heard one player complain about ‘em. I’m good with whatever they do.

BT, I miss Georgia championship wrestling Harley Race and the Nature Boy Ric Flair was my favorites lol. I believe it’s WWE now

It's been complained about for some time, the Chiefs actually petitioned to have it changes several years ago. People expect the same in the off-season this year as well.
