I agree with you guys. There is something mesmerizing about this game to me. I was at a wrestling tournament for most of this, but I’ll be rewatching it today. Every year, it just captures my attention like no other. These individuals put our country and our freedom at the top of their priority list and we owe them a lot.

After seeing the Naval Academy a few times and having a grandfather and wife’s uncle who both served in the US Navy, my heart pulls for Navy, but hats of to Army. They played their hearts out.

Last thing, Navy’s uniforms were fantastic. Great alternate uniform for them. Very cool. Have a good day gents.

As a Navy Veteran, I always route for Navy. As to the uniforms, I always enjoy reading about the units/reasons for the selection. Navy has a lot more color and some exciting motifs. However, I have enjoyed seeing some of the selections Army has used.

@merrymonk you’re a good man merrymonk, thanks for your service and it’s good hearing from ya. I really don’t care who wins I love just watching the game. My man Paul Johnson use to coach and if I remember correctly he beat ND?

Cadets are subject to both the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and military academy honor code regulations. In that regard, cadets are subject to the possibility of a court-martial for misconduct. Nonetheless, military academy court-martials are rare unless the case involves sexual assault

"Gosh I hope so." - Yeah, a little bit more than "curious", just own it at least

LMAO....someone's feelings are obviously hurt. Fans have been chanting LET'S GO BRANDON this week at state championship high school football games here in Hershey. You should have been there to stop it and tell them how unethical it is.

Lmao, last I checked high school football games aren't being contested by cadets who are serving their country. However, I'm certain those chanting it are the same people who waxed poetic about all the hate spewed at Trump too.

I wish you'd all shut up, bunch of hypocrites that just yell at whatever the other party does. You are all snowflakes who want to "own" the other side and always try to act like you hurt someones feelings or some other idiotic chest pumping rhetoric. Ffs

I dont think anyone's feelings are hurt and I'm certain that you're the only one in a tizzy.  However, most of us are amazed at how much of an a$$hole you and that other guy are becoming.  Its almost as if you two are in a competition to see who can be the biggest dink.

You seriously compared a HS football game to the Army Navy game??  You pretty much showed the entire forum your level of intelligence with that comment.

I was at the Mcdevitt vs Aliquippa game Thursday night and it was a great game! The Quips needed a 4th down conversion late to seal it. Was also at the Southern Columbia vs Serra Catholic game Friday afternoon knowing that niccy might be there since Southern is the HS team that he envies most and most likely goes to 3 of their games a year but unfortunately couldn't find him. That game was a bore as Southern Columbia ran all over them and won by something like 63-25. Crowds were decent but definitely down compared to years past.

That's Southern Columbia's 12th title and 5th in a row.

I shouldn't have called the Southern vs Serra game a bore because Serra did come back in the 3rd to get within a TD but Southern blew it open in the 4th. The game had a feel like the Tigers were in control from the start.

@psujoe I watched on PCN the Quip/McDevitt game...great game. The freshman qb from McD is going to be a GREAT one, hope PSU gets him. I also watched the IMHOTEP/PT game. IMHOTEP needs to find a kicker, cost them the game. What do you think of announcer Brandon Noble, ever meet him?

@lakerie I haven't watched a game on PCN in years but remember they've always done a great job with the games. Haven't met the guy either. Mcdevitt has a good young team, they'll be back playing for a championship again in the near future. What happened to the Erie area teams this year?

Erie Prep is young and beat some very good out of state teams. McDowell had a good run but ultimately not good enough to take it to the next 6A level. Both teams should be back with Prep a good shot making it to Hershey next year.

On another note. I suspect we know each other. Your football acumen from college to high school is as good as I've seen and your inside info tests out true and accurate. I enjoy reading your posts and respect your football opinions. For that matter I can tolerate your political views (and clearly we differ) but all of us here must resist bringing them here ( me too ).

Keep on posting.

Well to follow up - read an article today that stated the CIC did not attend the game in fear of that event happening.  On a side note - Navy's helmets were awesome!

I live and breathe PSU football as you obviously do too! Not sure how we'd know each other than by maybe crossing paths along a stream. I've cast a lot of flies on a lot of streams and rivers.
